1)Jason Cassidy, a country singer with the album 'My Redemption'.
2)Jason Cassidy, who created the album 'Winter Coat'. He's also the Jason Cassidy on this page.
Jason Cassidy rose to some prominence in the bar music scene of central Pennsylvania with his sweaty, frenetic live shows featuring eclectic covers, folky originals and a fair smattering of traditional Irish drinking songs.
Jason later went on to form LOVEquake, a staple band on the Penn State bar scene from 2009 till their inevitable implosion in 2011.
Cassidy's albums are a pastiche of originals and traditional folk songs, marrying some chunky acoustic guitar with wry lyrics and a voice that's more strident than anything. Influences like Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, and Van Morrison are evident but not overpowering.
Take It Off
Jason Cassidy Lyrics

Always dressed up looking nice
Spending money on the latest styles
I guess she thinks it drives me wild
It don't take no fancy clothes to turn this cowboy on
[Chorus]
It could be
A tank top or my old work shirt
It don't matter what she's wearing
Ohhh that girl she's got me staring
That dress looks good for sure
I like it better laying on the floor
From head to toe I love it all
Now take it off
She don't need to get all dolled up
Could care less about all that stuff
High heels
Fish nets
Don't mean a thing to this here redneck
But one thing I know for sure
Less is always more
[Chorus]
It could be
Blue jeans or mini skirt
A tank top or my old work shirt
It don't matter what she's wearing
Ohhh that girl she's got me staring
That dress looks good for sure
I like it better laying on the floor
From head to toe I love it all
Now take it off
She could cover every magazine from Cosmo down to Field and Stream
But I prefer to see her not wearing a thing
Lead ride
[Chorus]
She wears
Blue jeans or mini skirt
A tank top or my old work shirt
It don't matter what she's wearing
Ohhh that girl she's got me staring
That dress looks good for sure
I like it better laying on the floor
From head to toe I love it all
Like a ball cap and some cover alls
Cut off shorts a bit too small
Ain't no doubt it turns me own
Now take it off
The song "Take it Off" by Jason Cassidy is about a man who is enamored by his girlfriend's natural beauty, and not the fancy clothes she wears. He doesn't care about the latest trends or expensive brands. He simply enjoys seeing her in blue jeans, mini skirts, or even his old work shirt. The chorus of the song repeats the sentiment that it doesn't matter what she's wearing, she's got him staring. The simplicity of her attire is what turns him on, as he explains that high heels and fishnets don't do anything for him. The lines "But one thing I know for sure, less is always more" reinforce the idea that he prefers her stripped back and natural. The song finishes with the lyrics, "Ain't no doubt it turns me on, Now take it off."
Overall, the lyrics of "Take it Off" are about appreciating the natural beauty of a woman, rather than the cultural beliefs of beauty. The singer of the song is simply stating that the confidence his girlfriend exudes, coupled with her natural beauty, is what is sexy to him.
