I'm cruisin', goin' don't know where
I'm cruisin', got to find my gal
I'm cruisin' for a bruisin'
That man with her is gonna get
Cruisin', got to find my gal
I'm cruisin', goin' here and there
I'm cruisin', got to find my gal
That man with her will have tonight, cruise
Crusin', ought to find my cat
Cruisin', so we can be a pair
Cruisin', wonderin' where she's at
I'm cruisin' for my date
I hope, I find before it's way too late, rock
Cruisin', lookin' for my gal
I'm cruisin', going don't know where
I'm cruisin, lookin' for my gal
I'm cruisin' for to bruise him bad
That man with her is gonna get
Cruisin', cruisin', cruisin', cruisin'
Cruisin', cruisin', I'm cruisin'
The song “Crusin'” by Jeff Beck Feat. Darrel Higham is a rock and roll track that speaks of a man who is searching for his significant other. The song opens with the lyrics “Cruisin', lookin' for my gal, I'm cruisin', goin' don't know where,” where the singer is driving around aimlessly searching for his girlfriend. He is anxious and frustrated, which is evident in the lines “I'm cruisin' for a bruisin', that man with her is gonna get.”
As the song progresses, the singer becomes more determined to find his girlfriend, as he sings “Cruisin', got to find my gal, I'm cruisin', goin' here and there.” He hopes to find her before it is too late and sings “Cruisin' for my date, I hope I find before it's way too late.” The song then returns to the main refrain, where the singer repeats the lines “Cruisin', lookin' for my gal” and emphasizes that he is “cruisin' for to bruise him bad,” referring to the man who is with his girlfriend.

Their will never be another guitar player like Jeff in my life time. He taught me so much about tone and technique. His passing left a big hole in my heart. RIP Jeff😢

Amazing how Jeff plays straight without any of his classic Beckisms, serious talent right there.
Harry Castleman
This is what a lot of people didn’t know about him. Always knew where the roots of the music were and connected with them cosmically and naturally.
Simon Keyse
I couldn't agree more, playing stuff he played when he got his first guitar/s, instead of what's now, or sadly, was expected of him. If that makes any sense. I have taken alcohol....

Jeff was a consumate professional

If you listen to '50s rockabilly and are familiar with those tunes, maybe even tried to play those licks yourself, you will notice that everything Jeff plays here doesn't just come close but is totally authentic, he really nails it to perfection. On that show he just got back to where it all started for him. One of the most amazing guitar players who ever lived.

Jeff's "little indulgence " was a everyone else's huge experience. Pure magic set right there.

Jeff is simply a multi-talent when it comes to rock music. He can play anything from 50' rock 'n roll to psychedelic music like he made it up. An exceptional guitarist.
