Now but don't be scared
Think of all the good things
And for what you wish and hope for
And remember that i love you
Nite nite goodnight i love you so
Under the planets mobile
Laying in the soft light
And love the golden woman
Who sing bedtime stories
Songs of dreams and visions
Who paints on their arms words of molding
Becoming sculptures and monuments
Of their thoughts tune clearly
As he leaves the world
And remembers all the love of
A young man ring truly
Oh, all the heavenly creatures
Walk tonight
Casting their tracks
In wet cement ground
Their thoughts and pictures
Cast forever
Oh, all the lasting treasures
Grace and beauty lay in pushing myself
I open my heart
Under the planets mobile
Laying in the soft light
Coming through my window
Holing yourself up for days
Making your place in the world
White winter winter wood
In the night light
Your porcelain skin
Your ruby red lips
And your dark blond hair
Your fairytale look
Oh, all the heavenly creatures
Walk tonight
Casting their tracks
In wet cement ground
Their thoughts and pictures
Cast forever
Oh, all the lasting treasures
Grace and beauty lay in pushing myself
I open my heart
Under the planets mobile
Laying in the soft light
Coming though my window
The song "Heavenly Creatures" by Jeremy Jay presents a calming and reassuring lullaby that emphasizes love and positive thinking. The first verse addresses a child, wishing them goodnight and encouraging them to focus on the good things in life and their dreams. The second verse describes a scene of someone laying under a planets mobile, where they have a childlike sense of wonder and imagination. The verses seem to share a common message of cherishing the simple and beautiful things in life, while also acknowledging the power of imagination and creativity.
Meanwhile, the chorus uses imagery of "heavenly creatures" walking and leaving imprints on wet cement ground. The idea of these creatures and their lasting treasures could be interpreted as a reference to the idea of leaving a legacy behind, and the importance of creating something of value that will last beyond one's lifetime. The chorus seems to contrast with the first and second verses' focus on small, intimate scenes by suggesting the grander picture of the legacies and lasting impressions people leave behind.
Overall, the lyrics of "Heavenly Creatures" convey a soothing and introspective message, encouraging listeners to embrace the beauty and positive things in life while also considering the impact they leave on the world.
