I Got A Thing For You

I got a thing for you
I got a thing for you
I can't let it go
You're so mysterious
You got me curious
I think of the both of us
I need a cage, I need a leash
Now that we've woken up the beast
Yeah, yeah
I wouldn't lie to you
Unless you want me too
I got a thing for you
I can't let it go
Well, even when you sweat, you sweat with style
Making my imagination run wild
Yeah, yeah
I got a thing for you
I got a thing for you
I got a thing for you
And I can't let it go
And I can't let it go
And I can't let it go
And I can't let it go
And I can't let it go
The lyrics to Jim Bianco's song "I Got a Thing for You" are about his intense attraction towards someone he finds mysterious and curious. He is so drawn to this person that he compares his desire for them to a wild beast that needs to be restrained with a cage or leash. He admits to having a thing for them and being unable to let go of this attraction, even if it's something that may not be good for him. The lyrics also suggest that this person's physical appearance is a factor in his attraction, with lines like "even when you sweat, you sweat with style."
The repetition of "I got a thing for you" throughout the song emphasizes the intensity of this attraction and how it consumes Bianco's thoughts and desires. The lyrics also suggest a sense of ownership or possession over this person, with lines like "I need a cage, I need a leash now that we've woken up the beast." While the lyrics do not explicitly state why this person is so mysterious or what their relationship is, it's clear that Bianco is deeply infatuated with them and is willing to go to great lengths to satisfy his desires.
Overall, "I Got a Thing for You" is a song that captures the intense desire and attraction that can be both thrilling and dangerous. It's a commentary on how easily we can be consumed by our desires and the risks that come with pursuing them.
