Don't Tell Me
Joey Quinones Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Well′ I've been seeing you around, baby Far too many times, baby
Holding hands with what′s his name
You know i never really cared for what's his name
I've tried to see through the
Heartache But nothing seems to shine my way
So don′t try to tell me
That′s it alright
And don't try to warm me
About a broken heart
Well i′ve been trying to say those simple
Words to you
Oh those very simple little words to you
Goodbye, baby, goodbye this time for good
But i can't seem to find a way of telling you
So don′t try to tell me
That's it′s alright
And don't try to warm me
About the world i already know
(Auh) (Don't tell me bout a broken heart)
(Don′t tell me bout the world i
Know) (Don′t tell me bout a broken heart)
(Don't tell me bout the world i

Know) (Don′t tell me bout a broken heart)
(Don't tell me bout the world i know)

I'm 60. Some kid at the gym, maybe 20-something, had this playing on his phone. I asked him what it was and he told me about this guy and Thee Sacred Soul. This is fantastic music!
