This is awesome! I adore the sound of the ocarina. I'd like to play as well. I already have an ocarina and can play a bit. How did you learn it? Because I think there is no teacher in my hometown (or near). Can you give me advice? Well, I love your work. You as good as David Ramos in my opinio (and this guy is really really great). I'd like to see more videos. You really deserve more subscribers!

Gerngeschehen! Die Ocarina ist ganz gut geeignet, um sie sich selbst beizubringen, denke ich, wenn man etwas Zeit reinsteckt. Noch ein wichtiger Tipp, spiel mit einem Tuner, für Gitarre, als App oder so, damit du lernst wie stark du sie anblasen musst damit der richtige Ton rauskommt.

Well thank you very much for the quick respond! The funny thing is: Ich bin Deutsche :) Vielen Dank für den Tipp mit dem Buch. Guck ich mir auf jeden Fall mal an. Ich dachte mir schon, dass die meisten sich das selbst beibringen müssen, aber ich glaube, wenn man am Ball bleibt wird das was. Vielen vielen Dank für die vielen Tipps, ich glaube das hilft mir echt weiter und auch danke für das Angebot mit den Ratschlägen!

Woah, first off, thanks a lot for that comparison! David is a friend of mine, I met him at the International Ocarina Festival last year. He inspired me to learn the instrument, and I think I still have quite a way to go until I'm as good as he is. :)
Ocarina teachers are rare, so I'm self-taught as most players are. If you need learning resources, take a look at David's tutorials and check out The Ocarina Network website, or its Facebook group.
I also had a book to get me started which came with my ocarina, it's the School for Ocarina that came with my first ocarina. It's in german, but I think ocarinaworkshop.com also has a reduced english version.
I don't have the time to teach you directly, but I can give you advice on certain specific problems, if you can't find anything useful on The Ocarina Network. :)

Thank you! I really liked Magicka, and spent quite some time with it. The guitar is played by Johan Lindgren, and I think the ocarina fits in quite well :)
