Everything is You
Julian Shah-Tayler Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴
Because everything is you
All the dark things and all the wonderful things
Because everything is you
'Cause you are inside
my head
And you are inside my heart
And I am inside your web
And I will never dare depart
In Julian Shah-Tayler's song "Everything Is You," the lyrics analyze the complex and ever-changing nature of love. The lyrics describe how the singer's lover is omnipresent, encompassing all aspects of their life, both good and bad. The line "all the creepy things and all the beautiful things" refers to how the singer's lover is present in everything, even in the more unpleasant aspects of life. The line "because everything is you" further emphasizes this concept, as it highlights how the singer's lover is the reason behind all aspects of their life.
The second verse continues with this theme of omnipresence, as the singer describes how their lover is inside their head and heart. This line implies that the singer cannot escape their love for their partner, as they are constantly thinking about them. The final line "And I will never dare to depart" highlights the intensity of the singer's love, suggesting that they cannot imagine a life without their partner. Overall, the lyrics of "Everything Is You" provide a poignant reflection on the all-consuming nature of love.
