I love what you did Julie, especially that very cool coda, but I kind of like the old lyrics (verses 1 and 3), which can be sung in modern English like this:

Rock of Ages let our song praise Your saving power.
You amidst the raging foes were our sheltering tower.
Furious they assailed us but Your arm availed us.
