I love this song ^^ It draws so much on traditional Japanese music, and it's a beautiful remix of the original from G/S/C That, and it makes me wiggle and sway my middle like a Bellsprout, too xD

Definitely one of the best, most memorable melodies from the original GSC saga. This rendition adds more of a, as phantomturtle44 puts it "traditional Japanese music". But this isn't a problem for me, seeing as how Japanese Anime has influenced a sort of respect for Japanese culture in me.
The remakes definitely seems to have channelled a lot of this influence from classical Japanese music throughout the soundtrack, and has given Johto more of a traditional Japan aura to it. It seems to affirm how much Japan influenced Johto's design.
I too loved from the original how it complements the swaying of the "Bellsprout" pillar perfectly.

I personally prefer the haunting synthetic tones of the original version. This one's fine to like, but I like the original for its unnatural sound, and this one sounds... well, natural. Although, Braxton burks's version has a natural sound and still gives me eerie vibes.
