Drawing on his distinct falsetto voice, Ké can some times leave an androgynous vocal impression, but he was, and is, considered a 'heart-throb' in many parts of the world - from Italy to Korea to South America.
He is probably best known for his 1996 hit song, anti-war anthem "Strange World". The track came from his debut album, "I Am [ ]" which also featured the follow up single "Someday".
His popularity in Europe as a cult icon was cemented in part by the fact "Strange World" sold over 3 million copies, and topped radio charts in the UK, Italy and Germany as one of the most requested songs of 1996. A dance remix of the song, by Junior Vasquez, hit #1 on the Billboard dance chart.
Ké's second album was entitled "Shiny". He opted out of his multi-album contract with RCA after they refused to promote him and the record "Shiny" properly with one executive stating "he just seems too gay... ".
Rebounding on his own with a self released "Better Way of Living", which featured a duet with Macy Gray, Ke soon thereafter decided to return to his simple roots in Kansas, tending to his small farm there while being involved in Animal Welfare Issues.
Ké maintains a MySpace profile at www.myspace.com/kstrangeworld which features new tracks not found on any of his albums.

You'll be the way you were before, when you don't want me anymore
Don't turn around, don't ever leave, a lonely room where empty days
Are gathering to meet me when you're gone, gone
How in the world will I go on
(Don't walk away) all you gotta do is stay
(Don't walk away) all you gotta do is stay (don't walk away)
Don't walk away (don't walk away), don't say goodbye (don't say goodbye)
Don't turn around (don't turn around), don't let it die (don't let it die)
When shadows fall (when shadows fall), when day is done (when day is done)
All through the night (all through the night), all of my life (all of my life)
Don't walk away
Is it a dream, when will it end
When everything we've ever known has ended and I'm all alone
Where will I go, where will I be, the feelings that I've never shown
Maybe I'll find the answer when you're gone, gone
How in the world will I go on
(Don't walk away) all you gotta do is stay
(Don't walk away) all you gotta do is stay (don't walk away)
The lyrics to Ke's song "Don't Walk Away" are about the singer's fear of being left alone by a loved one. The singer is pleading with their partner to not abandon them, stating that they will be left feeling empty and alone in a room full of memories. They question how they will be able to move on without them and ask them to stay with them through their hardship. The singer expresses a sense of helplessness, thinking that maybe they will find answers to their questions once the person they love is gone.
The lyrics are heavy with emotion and vulnerability, expressing the fear of rejection and abandonment that many people feel in their relationships. The artist uses repetition of the phrase "don't walk away" to emphasize the importance of staying together, and the line "Is it a dream, when will it end" hints at the possibility of it being too good or too perfect to be true. The vivid imagery of a "lonely room where empty days are gathering to meet me" creates a desolate and bleak atmosphere, further emphasizing the fear of being left alone.
Overall, the song portrays the feelings of anxiety and desperation in holding on to a loved one, and the fear of losing that person forever.

Really loved the message in this movie. When the past resurfaces pretending to have changed, and something deserving and healthy has finally shown up, close the door on the past for good.
