Linden scored two hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 late in the 1950s. The first was "Billy", a song originally written in 1911; it hit #7 in 1958. The second was "Goodbye Jimmy, Goodbye", which rose to #11 in 1959. Both singles were released on Felsted Records and featured Joe Leahy's backing orchestra. "Goodbye Jimmy Goodbye" incorporated elements of two previous tunes - the British music hall song "Two Lovely Black Eyes" and the country song "Goodbye Little Darling". There were a few covers, the biggest of which was by Ruby Murray in the UK. At the time of her first hit single Kathy was a married woman in her 20s, but her record company wanted her to appear as a child due to her childish voice.

Joan Rivers' career was NOT destroyed by what you're claiming - you could have easily replaced her with Bob Goldthwait, whose career took a nosedive after starting a fire on the Letterman set. He was a popular comedian and actor, and just basically disappeared from the scene after that.

Andy Dick has a much longer history of being a creep than this relatively recent incident. To the point where that type of behavior should have just been expected by the talent bookers of the show.

I remember watching Joan Rivers as Guest Host for Johnny Carson. She was hilarious!! I hoped Johnny would go away more often! The TRUTH is that Joan was JUST AS FUNNY (even funnier) than Johnny & her being a woman, that threatened & intimidated them, so she got banned across the board!

Accepting blame for doing something in front of witnesses doesn’t buy you forgiveness - he not only ruined his career he ruined Seinfeld for a lot of fans, who stopped watching reruns after that. But that sure wasn’t a result of a talk show interview
