Stand Tall
Killer Dwarfs Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

The fear is paralyzing
Second gear for flight
The atmosphere is tantalizing
Savor every bite

Stand tall, stick to your guns
Might make you scared but they can't make you run
Stand tall, stick to your guns
Show them what you're made of

Take my hand, we will command
Fear nothing, no one
Speak to me, I'm hearing you
A message from the front lines

Stand tall, stick to your guns
Might make you scared but they can't make you run
Stand tall, stick to your guns
Show them what you're made of

Out of the past, our hope will last
No second best for this one
Take my hand, we will command
Fear nothing, no one

Stand tall, stick to your guns
Might make you scared but they can't make you run
Stand tall, stick to your guns
Show them what you're made of

Stand tall, stick to your guns
Might make you scared but they can't make you run

Stand tall, stick to your guns
Show them what you're made of

It is the year 2013, and I am re-viewing this video and STILL give it kudos. The creativity and defiance of the norm is outstanding. I will not be surprised when the band re-unites and takes over the world.

This was a great, superbly creative video from an underrated band. I bought this album the day after I saw this video. Very, very good album and probably my fave from the Dwarfs.

Awesome! One of my all-time favorite videos. Delighted to see it again after all these years.

They never really made it to the super big time, but they were very unique and I liked that. First time I ever heard of them was in that movie The Gate. After much searching, I managed to get one of their tapes and was impressed.

Russ Graham is an amazing frontman for a balls-out rocking band.
First time I ever saw them was the Keepin' the Spirit Alive music video.
Saw them in Columbus, think it was 1990. Don't know why concert halls put seats in if they're going to have bands like this play.

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Bobcat Goldthwait + Geddy Lee = Killer Dwarfs?  Absolutely awesome!  One of the very, very best...
