Come on
King Dean Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I find myself in a late night establishment
And I donґt know what happened to me
I can see that she doesnґt know it neither
So whatґs her motherfucking point

I see she tries to get away from the bar
Then I shout out loud
Why donґt you come over and give me some head
Because tomorrow we might be dead

Oh, come on

The next morning, she is still around
But I donґt even know her name
I donґt want to hear the stories about her mamma
Or about her last bloody birthday

I turn left, thatґs whereґs my window
And I think to myself
I wish I was in New York City
They told me the girls there are pretty

Oh, come on

Weґre going down, weґre going down
Weґre going down, weґre going down

So, come on

Overall Meaning

The song "Come On" by King Dean describes a late night encounter in an establishment where the singer finds himself with a woman he does not know. The lyrics are full of lust and recklessness as the singer tries to entice the woman to come over to him and give him some head. He doesn't care about getting to know her or her story and is only interested in a one night stand because tomorrow they might be dead. The lyrics are provocative and highlight the dedication the singer has to indulging in his desires regardless of the consequences.

As the night progresses, the singer wakes up the next morning with the woman still around but doesn't care about her identity or story, wanting to move on with his own plans. He wishes he was in New York City where the girls are pretty and could fulfill his desires. The song ends with the repetition of "we're going down," possibly referring to the destructive nature of the singer's desires and actions.

This song can be interpreted in various ways, mainly focusing on the themes of lust, recklessness, and the dangers of living life without care for consequences. It conveys a sense of urgency that today might be the only day to fulfill one's desires, which has been attributed to the YOLO (you only live once) culture.

What is "bisexual panic" or "gay panic", please? I know the legal definition which is about when someone attacks another person because they were scared of their sexuality and feared unwanted sexual advances. It's a really horrible, homophobic legal defense that justifies violence against gay people and bisexuals :-( But what does it mean in how people seem to be generally using it on the internet - like you just did - please? Thank you.

@Illisia Adams im pretty sure it means like panicking that you are put in a situation where you have to be gay or straight idk tbh
