I remember reading a manga called cage of Eden.

It’s a manga about a plane that crashed and landed on some island full of prehistoric creatures.

In one of the earlier chapters the Mc is captured and abducted from the plane by a psychotic man wearing a hockey mask and a coat presumably made from the fur of animals he had killed.

Guy was even calling himself hades.

The strangest thing about the man is we learn jack shit about him he is practically the only unexplored character in the entire series.

The only other time he appears he’s seen with the mc’s childhood friend who’s also gone a bit psycho as he kills a creature attacking a girl who strayed from the group.

Afterward the character is never seen in the series again.

Even with the manga finished I wonder who the hell he is he kind of reminds me of this guy.

I remember watching this episode of Twilight Zone when I was a child.  It scared the living shit out of me.  It has the kind of imagery that, over the years, grows in your mind and becomes scarier and scarier — but when you see it again as an adult, it seems tame.  Yet, that was the brilliance of Rod Serling and his talented ensemble — their ability to produce shows on a budget that fired the imagination in ways that lasted a lifetime.  I’m pretty jaded where horror shows and movies are concerned, but I will admit that, to this day, I am creeped out whenever I hear Twilight Zone’s iconic theme.  I would still find it mildly frightening to watch the show alone in a room at night.

I know man for an old show it definitely makes you use your imagination like the episode where the astronots land on a planet and are being stalk and hipnotised but aliens but we don't see them

I know the gremlin costume might look goofy now, but when i first saw this episode, I jumped when it pressed against the glass

Aidan Devine

Agree. The way it moves creeps me out.

The Grimlin sorta looks like a Frengii in a little bear suit.

While we were both kids, my brother and I both thought at the same time how cool it would be if it were his ass pressed up against the glass while taking a dump.

John Toomey

I wonder where the costume is now

Everyday Magic: Beauty over 50

I screamed involuntarily when the gremlin was revealed pressed against the glass! And I wasn’t a kid, I was at least 23, LOL 😂

Not much to it in production and costuming, but loaded in substance. Good writing and acting make this one of the best episodes of the series. I still love it after 50 years.
