I am really glad that Dire Straits will be inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame next spring. They certainly deserve the honor!

@lu Yes, I totally understand where you are coming from in regards to the Rock Hall of Fame. I have been to the museum in-person and it is really a great experience, but I don't agree with letting some acts into the Hall because they are not really rock-n-roll acts. If anything, maybe they should call it the "Popular Music Hall of Fame" instead.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is a joke anyway. If anything they're better out of it, considering some of the bands and artists that are in it.

I truly feel that Once Upon a Time in the West is my favorite all time Dire Straits song. It's so smooth, subtle, with so many varying guitar bends, twists, and turns that I hear something new in it each time I hear it . Mark Knopfler is a genius and one of the premier guitarists of all time.
