In The Woods
Lampshade Lyrics

All display their shine
As I look up to taste the rain
I find beauty on me
Here in the woods
Here in the solitude
The trees are singing your praise
As I wade in leaves
Uncover truths unknown
You unveil your face
As I look in mirrors
The lyrics of Lampshade's song "In The Woods" are a reflection of the singer's experience in nature. The colours around them are vibrant and beautiful, and they find themselves appreciating the rain that falls on them. The singer is alone in the woods, but doesn't feel lonely. Instead, they feel connected to the world around them, especially to the trees that seem to be singing the praises of the Divine. The singer joins in this chorus of praise, feeling as though they are part of something much greater than themselves.
The second half of the song has a slightly different tone, as the singer begins to uncover truths that were previously unknown to them. They are seeking something, and as they look into mirrors they feel as though they are coming closer to understanding it. The song seems to suggest that this quest for truth and understanding can be found through spending time in nature and feeling connected to the world around us.
Overall, the lyrics of "In The Woods" are a celebration of the beauty and wonder of the natural world, and a reminder that there is something deeper and more meaningful to be found in life than the surface-level distractions that we often get caught up in.
