Don't you see
Language of Flowers Lyrics

As we're running through the trees
And this is the way I want our memories to stay
They can't take them away
You and me
We're never gonna be
The ones they dream about
It's really gonna be all gone
When you fly away from me
But don't be sad
Let's make the most of what we have
There's so much left to do
And even though you said
That you don't want to go away
I know you will
Because there's nothing left for you
You and me
We're never gonna be
The ones they dream about
Don't you see?
It's really gonna be all gone
When you fly away from me
The Language of Flowers's song "Don't You See" is a beautiful and poignant meditation on the transience of life and relationships. The song begins by painting a picturesque scene of running through the trees under the bright sunshine. The beauty of the moment is captured in the lyrics, "And this is the way I want our memories to stay. They can't take them away." The song then takes a melancholic turn as the singer realizes that all good things must come to an end. She pleads with her partner to understand that even though they may not be the ones that others dream about, their time together is precious and fleeting. Despite her sadness, she encourages her loved one to make the most of the time they have, knowing that eventually, they will have to say goodbye.
The chorus is particularly moving, with the repeated refrain of "You and me, we're never gonna be the ones they dream about. Don't you see? It's really gonna be all gone when you fly away from me." This is a stark reminder that our time with the ones we love is limited, and that we must cherish every moment we have.
