Last Perfect Thing Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Whatever you have to say
Whenever you feel this way
Whatever you want to do
I'll be with you
I'll be with you

Say
These days
Are crazy
Speak
The message
Clearly
So I can hear
Drown
The echo in this room
Another broken day will fade away
Bite down on the bullet
Bite down on the bullet

Whatever you have to say
Whenever you feel this way
Whatever you want to do
I'll be with you

Whenever this xylic moon
Will fall on top of you
And if that day is soon
I'll be with you

Leave
These days
For saving
Leave

The wreackage
Bleeding
So I can heal
Tell
The sorrow
To stay low
Another broken day will fade away
Bite down on the bullet
Bite down on the bullet

Whatever you have to say
Whenever you feel this way
Whatever you want to do
I'll be with you

Whenever this xylic moon
Will fall on top of you
And if that day is soon
I'll be with you

Bite down on the bullet
Bite down on the bullet

Whatever you have to say
Whenever you feel this way
Whatever you want to do
I'll be with you

Whenever this xylic moon
Will fall on top of you
And if that day is soon

I'll be with you
And I'll be with you

Overall Meaning

The lyrics of "Fluid" by Last Perfect Thing are about being there for someone no matter what they're going through. The singer is telling the person they care about that they'll always be by their side, regardless of what they're feeling, thinking or what they want to do. They're also urging the person to speak clearly, to tell them what's on their mind and what troubles them, so that they can help them navigate through those problems. The idea is that they will be a support system for the person they care about, through the good days and the bad, and through the chaos and wreckage of life.

The song begins with the singer asking the person they care about to say whatever they need to say, feel whatever they need to feel and do whatever they want to do. This establishes an open and safe environment for the person to express their emotions and experiences. The line "These days are crazy" represents the current state of the world, and how difficult it can be to navigate through it all. The singer encourages the person to speak clearly so that they can hear and understand their needs. The line "Bite down on the bullet" is a metaphor for facing the difficulties of life head-on, and not shying away from the pain.

The bridge of the song is especially poignant, as it talks about the "xylic moon" falling on top of the person they care about. This line could represent a difficult time in someone's life, or even death. The singer reassures the person that they will be there for them no matter what happens, and that they will not suddenly disappear from their side. The lines "Leave these days for saving, leave the wreckage bleeding" suggest that it's important to focus on the good times and the relationships in our lives, rather than getting caught up in the difficulties that life presents.

Overall, "Fluid" is a song about unconditional love and support, even in the darkest of times. It encourages listeners to be there for one another, to listen and understand each other's feelings, and to face life's challenges head-on.

That's simple plastic material why ZIPPO a company is not providing ... Hope so it's a business for Zippo fluid business to run and make a hole to customers

@kazutokirigaya7698

I've seen a video on youtube, basically he just wrapped the insert with a teflon tape, the one used for plumbing. does it work?

@charlesstein2880

Save your used up Bic/other lighters, most of the flints work in Zippo lighters

@anumey1

Hey, so I love your sandwich bag trick. It gets quite hot here in India, so my zippo that normally lasts about two days max with fuel now lasts a whole week and maybe more sometimes, which is crazy. I just wanted to add that I have found using cello tape works as well plus it has a much better seal due to the adhesive. For example the sandwich bag might move around while you're inserting the insert back in but using a wide cello tape cut to the length of the bottom of the insert works wonders for me. Anyway, thanks for your great videos, you're the reason why I am now a Zippo guy for life!

@Zippofanatic77outdoors

Haha that’s awesome !! What a great comment. I’m glad I was able to turn u into a classy guy now lol. Yes the tape works great on my old channel a lot of people comment that. I havent tried it yet. Working on a do it yourself rubber gasket right now. Do u take the felt completely out now like I mention in this video ?? Makes room for more fluid. Also glad it is lasting u that much longer in India ! Very hot and hard to keep fluid. Bottles must last u much longer now

@anumey1

@@Zippofanatic77outdoors Thanks! Haha, yes. Also learnt a few tricks from you too. The Operator is my favorite. I love juggling it all the time, it has become almost second nature now. I haven't tried taking the felt out yet, sounds like a great idea. Although I must say, putting the wick between fluffed up cotton pads is a fucking revolutionary idea, and that's the first thing I am going to do. And yeah, bottles thankfully last much longer now. Also, could you please make a video on the zippo trick you do in your intros. It looks too sick!

@Zippofanatic77outdoors

@@anumey1 that’s frigging awesome. Yes this packing technique is far superior to any zippo packing I’ve seen or tested. Juggling a zippo is so much fun. I’m actually working on a big zippo trick video. Should be out in the next few weeks.

@anumey1

@@Zippofanatic77outdoors Awesome! Can't wait!

@bernardtan1

@@anumey1 what's the actual use of the cello tape? Is that the office tape? Btw, why do you still need a tape when you are using those china rubber bottom seals ? Rubber seal Shrank ?
