The blood the Jesus shed for me
Way back on Calvary
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power

The blood the Jesus shed for me
Way back on Calvary
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power

Its soothes my doubts and calms my fears
And it drys away all my tears
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power

Its soothes my doubts and calms my fears
And it drys away all my tears
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power

For it reaches to the highest mountain
And it flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power

For it reaches to the highest mountain
And it flows to the lowest valley
The blood that gives me strength
From day to day
It will never lose its power

It will never lose
It will never lose
It will never lose

Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Ooh ooh
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Ooh ooh
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power
Ooh ooh
Never, never lose its power
Never, never lose its power

It will never lose

It will never lose
It will never lose its power

I think your perseption of music changes as you get older. As you gain more knowledge and grow as a person you start to like stuff you originally hated. I was talking to Red Rodney just before he died when he visited Sheffield England where I live. I kept going on and on about Charlie Parker being the greatest and he stopped me and said 'He is for me too but there are other players you know'. It's funny but I started listening to concert (or classical) music after that - best thing I ever did. I think I appreciate Jazz more after listening to other kinds of music.
