In 2013 they both found each other and started creating songs together. Originally rooted in the indie-rock corner, the two have joined forces as a duo to create electro-pop music with their very own spin. The unique sound of the duo stands out from the crowd with a lot of emotive atmosphere and tremendous depth. Lea Santee’s debut EP was highly praised by the music press, they relaeased two successful singles (“Hopeless” and “Rollin”), got airplay on non-Austrian radio stations, had sensational appearances at well-known festivals, like Sziget, Rock im Dorf or Lighthouse Festival, to name but a few, and a nomination at the UK Music Video Awards in October 2017 as “Best Pop Newcomer”. Lea Santee has been selected for the funding program “The New Austrian Sound of Music” (NASOM 2020/21).
