Shape
Ligion Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Even if you don't like the music listen, think
Do you feel what I feel, do you see what I see
It's not been easy, in my skin
And though I have yet to meet anybody
Whose skin is that easy to live in
This is my life
Whether wrong or whether right
I know I've tried
Never wanting to disguise these scars I have inside
Defining moments in life
I know are the shape of me, the shape of you, the shape of me
Even if you don't like the music listen, think
Do you feel what I feel, do you see what I see
Even if you don't like the music listen, think
Do you feel what I feel, do you see what I see
Most of us have been beaten down
But most of us have learned to rise
When most of us barely learn to live
Before we die
This is my life
Whether wrong or whether right
I know I've tried
Never wanting to disguise these scars I have inside
Defining moments in life
I know are the shape of me, the shape of you, the shape of me
I've never been so alive
I've never felt so alive
And I forgive you, 'cause I love you
I'll never ever leave you
It's ok, 'cause I'm ok,
It's cause ok, 'cause I am still alive
'Cause I am still alive
Even if you don't like the music listen, think
Do you feel what I feel, do you see what I see
'Cause this is my life
Whether wrong or whether right
I know I've tried
Never wanting to disguise these scars I have inside

Defining moments in life
I know are the shape of me, the shape of you, the shape of we, It's what you see

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Ligion's song "Shape" are all about embracing the struggles and scars that come with living life in our own skin. The singer acknowledges that it hasn't been easy for them but believes that through their struggles, they have found their true shape - the unique shape that defines who they are as a person. They encourage the listener to think about their own experiences and really feel what they feel and see what they see, even if they don't necessarily like the music. The singer talks about how they have tried to never disguise the scars they have inside and how those defining moments in life are what make us who we are.

The chorus repeats the message that even if you don't like the music, you should listen and think about what the singer is saying. The bridge talks about how most people have been beaten down but have still learned to rise above their struggles. The singer forgives and loves someone, never wanting to leave them, and reassures themselves that they're alright and still alive. The song ends with a final statement that our lives shape us and those around us, and what anyone sees when they look at us is our true shape.

Here's a good tip:
Don't use frenzy to traverse the map too much. If survivors know you're coming, you'll probably run out of your power before reaching them. Now you have to chase a healthy survivor without your power.

If two or three survivors are already injured, using frenzy will most likely waste your time. Just commit to an injured survivor.

These tips apply especially to big maps.
Also, getting stunned out of your power takes just as long as canceling it, so don't be afraid if you want to commit, especially if you have enduring, etc.

Don't forget to body block while in your power!

From personal experience, most survivors WILL drop the pallet trying to stun me out of my power. I always respect the pallet since it won't matter if they drop it or not, I will still hit them (unless they stun me).

Steam

This is the more likely outcome in chases. Stunning legions out of their power prevents most of the survivors getting injured again (if they choose to heal, especially with Thanato,)
It’s generally a good idea to drop the pallets and not greed them. As an old legion main, I suggest you just respect pallets and expect them to be dropped on your face if you’re using your power.

Ajong

that's ehwhy I run that one mixtape that refills your power after getting stunned and never respect

Steam

@Ajong Julies, it’s good for applying pressure in chase

Steam

And to add onto this, if a legion hits you with feral, they will literally just leave chase to go interrupt somebody else. DO NOT GREED. You will absolutely destroy your team by dropping the chase for not using a pallet to stun.

Another tipp for Legion: Remember that the 5th frenzy hit puts the next survivor in the dying state. Let's say you hit 3 people and you chase the 4th one, you hit them, now you can hit them a second time to instadown them. Normally hitting people twice in a row will end frenzy, however that does not matter for the 4th and 5th hit on one person since the down ends frenzy anyways.
You can also hit people who just got unhooked twice in a row to instantly get 2 hits, hit the unhooker once (3hits) and then find another person and hit them twice to down them (4+5th hit)

Steam

Well this is just how their power works, that’s not a tip. A tip would be hitting the unhooked and unhookee like you said.

Flevami

@Steam Agreed. Just thought it's good to mention given that many people still don't know or forget about that

@Flevamiou could've also mentioned that if they mend too quickly you can come back and reapply it

Santiago Balda

oh god I played a lot of Legion and I never knew this. THANK YOU
