(feat. Nikki Minaj)

Goodmorning New York,
Good afternoon New Orleans,
Goodnight America,
This is Young Money... Nikki Minage

[Nikki:]
They don't make us to break us no I'm with tha bakers,
I'm gettin bread wit Dread up in Jamaica,
Its them young stunnas,
Nikk and Lil Weezy,
Nikk-I'm the chick that go get it like Jeezy,
Fallback cause I do this here,
Step ya bars up or ur through this year,
Yup, it's onli right that the whole blocks there,
Hopped out the air in the blue and white layer,
I'm here, I'm lit, Long hair-don't care,
Steady starin at my ear, cause my ear on glare,
Now it's now hard to find me,
Top behind me,
You be Harry Potter, and I'll be Hermione,
Il be early,
I'm girl the girl they,
Call the 1 like I'm my first birthday,
I'm in that range rov,
Honkin that Kango,
That pussy red cause it tastes like Mango,

[Hook:]

[Wayne:]
Ya.. Dig
So I guess it's my turn, and imma go at niggas heads like sideburns,
Big Phantom on the road, make a wide turn,
Big light, green buds, is what I burn,
Nikki since I've been rappin, this is what I've learned,
All these other niggas pussy like dry sperm,
And I knock this shit out like Tom Hearns,
If it aint abou money, Me no concern,
A paper chaser till my thigh burn,
And never give a bitch, what I've earned,
Fuck I look like?,
I'm lookin for a bitch that can fuck right, cook right,
And if not, then left foot right,
Foot get tha steppin, Yeah bitch walk like..
And my hoes talk like "HssHswAsh"
And I just say "Right",
We don't fuss fight,
She is just.. Just.... Just right,

[Hook:]

Ya Diggggggggg!?

I'm on tour till my moneys like the bus height,
Ice lookin bright, see me comin like bus lights,
Weezy...

Overall Meaning

The song Don't Stop Won't Stop by Lil' Wayne featuring Nikki Minaj opens with a morning greeting to New York, an afternoon greeting to New Orleans, and a night greeting to America, indicating that Young Money, along with Nikki Minaj, is ready to take over the rap scene no matter the time. Nikki Minaj boasts of her success, rapping about getting bread in Jamaica with Dread and being a girl that gets what she wants like Jeezy. She tells others to step up their bars or be left in the dust. The two rappers express their desire for money and success, with Lil' Wayne saying he will only chase paper until his thigh burns. He does not care about what others think of him and instead looks for a woman who can both cook and perform in bed. The song emphasizes their confidence and drive to succeed, not stopping until they reach the top.

Although Don't Stop Won't Stop was not released as an official single, it gained popularity through mixtapes and was included in Lil' Wayne's album Tha Carter III as a bonus track. The song features Lil' Wayne's unique rhyming style and Nikki Minaj's playful verses. The duo previously collaborated on songs such as "Can't Stop Won't Stop" and "Go Hard," solidifying their chemistry as collaborators. The song was produced by Deezle and mixed by Fabian Marasciullo.

REAL 6ICKO “put my money in the grave” is a selfish statement. It’s literally the most selfish thing people have ever done in history. Confirms to me that there is nothing new under the Sun. When one is dead they cannot at all benefit from what they have accumulated. I’m responding to the thinking that wrote such a line, and the thinking that celebrates it.

This type of thinking was the ignorance of ancient rich and powerful classes who would be buried with treasures and even their (living) slaves because they thought that their afterlife would be a continuation of their worldly experience of scummy exploitation. It was a signal of status to other rich and powerful peers, and was premised on the delusion that the hierarchy was divine providence.

I see the same type of thinking here. Drake feels he deserves millions of dollars and he is actually “better” than others because he has such wealth. In fact, it’s simply a result of our capitalist society disproportionately rewarding frivolous activities like music and sports due to their ability to generate consumption on which the system is built upon. That, and the fact that corporations generate more revenue than actual countries (as well as harm) and can distribute wages however they see fit.

That people like this are role models, and lyrics like this taken as gospel truths is disgusting.

Is it healthy to have a life wherein you think everyone else (and those close to you) are undeserving scum who don’t deserve anything,l? How does saying that it’s better to burn the wealth you received from others (for an activity that does not actually benefit people) a thing to celebrate?

It’s a pagan mentality and modern capitalism is a return to barbarism. The only person better than another is one who has better character. Everything else will end and rot away.
