Her solo career took of when she was spotted by Swedish hit producer team Crossfade Productions and signed to a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music.
Since then she has been travelling between Stockholm and Los Angeles busy working on songs for her debut album. The first results are the single Fast Car, produced by Quara Rankin (Christina Aguilera) and Crossfade as well as the front face and the voice for the Swedish Heart and Lung Foundation.

Fast Car

Maybe we make a deal
Maybe together we can get somewhere
Any place is better, starting from 0 got nothing to lose
Maybe we'll make something
Me, myself and I got nothing to prove
You see, my old man's got a problem
He says his body's too old for working
His body's too young to look like his
My mama went off and left him
She wanted more from life than he could give
I said somebody's got to take care of him
So I quit school and that's what I did
See I remember when we were driving, driving in your car
Speed so fast I felt like I was drunk
City lights lay out before us
And your arm felt nice wrapped round my shoulders
And I had a feeling that I belonged
I had a feeling I could be someone, be someone, be someone, no, no
You got a fast car
We go cruising, entertain ourselves
Still ain't got a job
I'm working in a market as a checkout boy
I know things will get better
You'll find work and I'll get promoted
And we'll move out of the shelter
Buy a big house and live in the suburbs, live in the suburbs
You got a fast car
Is it fast enough so you can fly away?
You gotta make a decision
Leave tonight or live and die this way
See I remember when we were driving, driving in your car
Speed so fast I felt like I was drunk
City lights lay out before us
And your arm felt nice wrapped round my shoulders
And I had a feeling that I belonged
I had a feeling I could be someone, be someone, be someone,
Be someone, be someone,
You got a fast car
Is it fast enough so you can fly away?
You gotta make a decision
Leave tonight or live and die this way
Leave tonight or live and die this way
Leave tonight or live and die this way
Leave tonight or live and die this way
Leave tonight or live and die this way
The lyrics of Linda Pritchard's "Fast Car" tell the story of a person who dreams of leaving their small town life behind and embarking on a new journey to anywhere through a fast car they want to purchase. They do not have anything to lose and hopes that traveling with someone will lead them somewhere better than their starting point, which is zero. They want to prove to society and themselves that they can make something of their life. The singer's old man is struggling with alcoholism and is unable to work, while their mother has left him for a better life. As a result, the singer quit school and is working as a checkout boy to support his father. However, they dream of a more fulfilling life with a partner and a fast car.
The singer seems to have found momentary joy and a sense of belonging in the past while riding in the car of their partner, whom they address every so often in the song. They describe the adrenaline rush of speeding in the car, the beauty of city lights, and the comfort of their partner's arm around them. They wish to recapture that moment and have a feeling that they can be someone, perhaps with the partner and the fast car. In the end, they want their partner to make a decision to leave tonight or continue living in their current situation.
