She has appeared most notably in the stage musicals Mamma Mia! and Guys and Dolls and in the UK television series Jonathan Creek. Her performance in Mamma Mia! as Sophie is included on the original cast recordings from 1999. She also contributed to the Help! I'm A Fish film soundtrack.

She released her first solo album, A Piece of Lisa in 2006.
