Man on the line
Play the game, again
Ev'rybody's gonna lose
And I'm gonna win

Gonna get rich quick
This is my lucky day
So, stick around baby
N' ev'ryhting will be okay

Well, I had a buck
When I went to the track
Had twenty grand
When I came back

Gonna get rich quick
This is my lucky day
So, stick around baby
N' ev'ryhting will be okay

(saxes & instrumental)

Well, I know a horse
That's good as gold
Run like a Cadillac

Gonna get rich quick
This is my lucky day
Oh, stick around baby
N' ev'ryhting will be okay

Gonna get rich quick
This is my lucky day
Gonna get rich quick
This is my lucky day
Well, I'll stea,l a-beg, an borrow
Ev'rything will be okay.

One of my favorites, and little known. This was his first rca recording? Long before he hit the big time. Great lyrics and rhythm.

Kev R

Actually his 1st recording was in 1951 the song is called Taxi Blues - get rich quick is his 3rd recording my friend.

So much like Roy Brown. There is argument about the date of this recording but it was either January or February in 1952.

Would not know this was LR. Sounds nothing like he did in later years.

Elvis is thé King of rock n roll ... Little Richard is thé greatest piano player who live'd and hes alive and kicking it ... Love little Richard im à big fan

Lisa Berglund

Elvis would have been nothing without Little Richard. He and Chuck Berry are the true kings of rock and roll.

For Many White People Elvis Is "The King", That`s Different On The Black Side And Not A Few Think, Presley`s Part Is And Was A Way Of Propaganda And Racism.

Tim Carr

In the r&r domain L.R. had stiff competition for the greatest piano player from Jerry Lee Lewis. I prefer the pianist Floyd Cramer. There have been classical pianists who would roll over those three.
