The beginning
Losa Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Lift me up light me on fire
As the pristine blinding light
Of early innonce
She labors for the perfect momentin time

Obscure voices singing out another
Lover born without turn my head
I caught a glimpse of Eden my Shangri La
Was the world untouched by this deepening infirmity?

Or was I following.
I caught a glimpse of Eden my Shangri La
Interlacing fragile ribbons of my mind
But curiosity of the young

Is to reach out I'm reaching
Seize searing flame of worldly desire for
In the end it will decide and prevail
For the enlightenment of this touch

Comes ringing out discourse
I caught a glimpse of Eden my Shangri La
This is the dawning day of remembrance
Innocence becoming infectious

Infringing upon the unsuspecting mind
Exposed to the truth I see in every eye
O deceitful was the day changing the
Path worn by the uniformed

Harvest is sown reap what you grow kill what we own beautiful burning silhouette scorching
Acumen changing the path worn by the uninformed

Overall Meaning

Losa's song The Beginning is a reflective piece on the complexities of growing up and the search for deeper meaning in life. The opening lines, "Lift me up light me on fire, as the pristine blinding light of early innocence," create a sense of both vulnerability and possibility. The singer wants to be elevated and ignited by the pure, unadulterated energy of youth, and yet they also recognize the fragility of this time.

Throughout the song, Losa explores themes of curiosity, desire, and enlightenment. The line, "But curiosity of the young is to reach out I'm reaching," captures the sense of yearning and exploration that motivates us in our early years. However, Losa also recognizes that this desire for knowledge and experience can sometimes lead us astray, as they ask themselves, "Was I following?" and wonder if they were truly on the right path.

Ultimately, it seems that Losa finds a sense of clarity and purpose in their search. The repeated line, "I caught a glimpse of Eden my Shangri La," suggests that they have found a kind of paradise or ideal state that they want to strive towards. However, this realization comes at a cost, as they acknowledge that "In the end it will decide and prevail," and that the pursuit of enlightenment can be a lonely and difficult road to travel.
