mundo
Luciana Mocchi Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
The lyrics to Luciana Mocchi's song "Mundo" depict three different individuals who are trying to navigate their way through life, each with their own unique experiences and struggles. The first verse is about Sandra, who finds joy for the first time when she gives birth to her child in a hospital. She doesn't care about the gender of her baby, all she knows is that the world is meant to be shared by two people.
The second verse is about Juan, who has finally decided to settle down and live a more simple life. He wants to go to the beach and see the world, not knowing if he's going to end up in a river or ocean, but what he does know is that the world is meant to be enjoyed and tasted as salty.
The third verse is about José, who's feeling defeated and frustrated because everything he tries to do seems to fail. He's lost his way and his confidence, but still knows that the essence of life is to keep trying, hoping that he can find a path that makes him feel alive again.
In the chorus, the three characters come together to drink and celebrate life. Even though they don't know what the future holds, they know they have each other, and they know what they are brindando for, even though they don't know what the world is.
