Go back
Luke James Shaffer Lyrics

I still feel seventeen
Running off to the navy
My body's not what it was
But my mind hasn't changed
Knuckles white jaws clenched
All of us so innocent
No sleep on my knees
Praying for the day
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna go back
I don't wanna lose track
But I wanna forget
Have a drink and think about
The times that we can't live without
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna I wanna I wanna go
Back back
Fell in love as hitch hiker
Back when I was a deep sea diver
Water was a place where I
Always felt at home
Stories that I'll never tell
Lost myself in the week of hell
Moments that I can't let go
I feel them in my bones
I feel them in my bones
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna go back
I don't wanna lose track
But I wanna forget
Have a drink and think about
The times that we can't live without
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna I wanna I wanna go
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna go back
I don't wanna lose track
But I wanna forget
Have a drink and think about
The times that we can't live without
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna I wanna I wanna go
Back I wanna go
Back I wanna go
Back I wanna go
Back
Strange how
My minds forever young
I cling to all I've done
The rights and all the wrongs
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna go back
I don't wanna lose track
But I wanna forget
Have a drink and think about
The times that we can't live without
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna I wanna I wanna go
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna go back
I don't wanna lose track
But I wanna forget
Have a drink and think about
The times that we can't live without
I don't wanna go back
But I wanna I wanna I wanna go
Back I wanna go
Back I wanna go
Back I wanna go
Back

I'm looking at your video like a dream. My wet eyes that stayed in the neon light like tears that filled the early morning sky in winter were moved by your video and fell in love. The countless stars shining in the winter night sky are each beautiful, but I fell in love with your image shining in my heart and it is the most beautiful. I can't stop thinking your video is so good. Watching your video under the night sky at dawn when the cold winter wind blows is so beautiful and enchanting. It is your video that I want to watch over and over again. By chance at the winter window, as the algorithm introduced me, when I opened my YouTube window, the first video I saw was your video. I am watching your video while sitting on a bench by the quiet lakeside, enjoying my favorite sunset scenery. When I watch your video, everything feels like a dream. I am happy to sit by the window on such a fine day and watch your video. Which algorithm sent your very beautiful video?
Why did you have such a wonderful talent that is full of strange charms unique to your video? I was amazed at the excellence of your skills and was moved by your sincerity and hard work while watching the video.

Hey man - how do you record the boss loop pedal? Im finding that the levels add up and it gets messy

James Wilson Music

@Luke James Shaffer Hey Luke, thanks for taking the time to reply! Ok great ill try that! Yea I found the mic picks up.. Where did you get the switch, or do you assign the foot pedal as mic volume?
Also how do you minimise ground buzz..that annoying buzz that you hear when nothing is being played?

Luke James Shaffer

Hey James! How do I record for videos or just in general for like live stuff? I keep my input level around 25% and my mic level a hair above that. Then I keep my main output at 50% most of the time. I've found this keeps things from clipping if I have a bunch of layers on a song. I also use a Mic Mute switch for live shows so that my microphone doesn't pick up my guitar parts as that will add an extra layer every time you loop and can turn things, as you said, messy.
