It was 1987 when this song came out. I was 16 yrs old back then. We had Latin Freestyle Hip hop/Rap Rock N Roll and lot more great music. Sure we didn't have any of the stuff that they have today. But we had compared to the music of today. We all had beyond better than what have now. GOD I miss those days.!!!!!

I was in the Navy in the late 80s early 90s and i was stationed in San Diego. We found this place in Imperial Beach, a real hell hole that didn't take kindly to strangers, i felt like an outsider in my country . But man, they rocked freestyle and house music like nobody's business, and this was one those songs. Gang members, who cares, we want our freestyle dammit, it was one of the only places that would play this music. No worries, we became regulars and they left us alone eventually :)
