That grip thing with finger pointing out? Bwahaha what a BS, bruh, be ashamed.
If anybody tries to pull off that shit on an adult, they'll notice it and make note of it. And that note will most definitely not be a "wow, such an alpha, must submit", but more of a "haha what a douche, whatever", or actually end up provoking some subtle aggression later as a payback.

This is a 100% good example of toxic masculinity that's setting the wielder for long-term failure.
What next, peeing on your hands so you have a "mental" dominance over whoever you shake hands with?

At least other advises are reasonable.

TL;DR: Improve yourself, but never try to do that at the expense of your peers. AKA Don't be an asshole.

The short step walk is not because we are in a rush, but rather because a lot of us adapt of stride to match that of a female partner who typically is shorter than us. It’s easier to walk holding hands or with an arm around a partner if we adopt the same stride length.

All these are great tips. I'd like to expound

Looking straight ahead while walking will naturally cause people to shift out of your way giving you space. This is due to the sense of definite direction as that's what your body language is indicating you have.

Also using your hands while talking turns people to be widely ingulfed into whatever it is you're saying.

Also, talk with down tones for authority. Be relaxed and cordial while doing this and people are more likely to not only listen but do as you say.
