dawn
Many Are Connected Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Lying here dreaming of you
And our lives a world a part
Just a whisper in my head
Alive are my dreams, so you can’t be dead
My Lord Help me help me please
Cause as the night falls, my mind begins to see
And as the dawn comes, We can feel you
With each heart beat, We can hear you
My Lord give me the strength that I need
And as the dawn comes, they will see me
Dreaming of you, It must be true
This connection is perfection
And time is still
Dreaming of you, It must be true
This perfection is tha connection
And yea, it’s you
They must know, that love is here
Before our time, moves on
My Lord Help me please
My Lord help me please
And as the dawn comes, and you see the sun
I’ll be there for you
And as time moves on, and you feel alone
I’ll be there for you
And if your heart beat, isn’t that strong
I’ll be there for you
I’ll be there for you
My Lord help me, please
I’ll be there for you
My Lord help me please
I’ll be there for you
I’ll be there for you

I’ll be there for you
My Lord help me, be strong

Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Many Are Connected's "Dawn" speak to the feeling of being separated from a loved one while still feeling connected to them through dreams and memories. The opening lines of "lying here dreaming of you / and our lives a world apart" set the scene for the rest of the song, which is essentially a prayer to a higher power (referred to as "My Lord") for strength and guidance in coping with this feeling of distance.

As the night falls and the dawn comes, the singer speaks of feeling the presence of their loved one through small, symbolic moments. "With each heart beat, we can hear you" and "and as the dawn comes, they will see me / dreaming of you" speak to a sort of spiritual connection that transcends physical barriers. The singer asks for "strength that I need" to continue feeling this connection, even though it may be difficult.

The song ends with a vow to always be there for their loved one, no matter what challenges may come their way. "And if your heart beat isn’t that strong / I’ll be there for you" is a resolute promise to remain connected to this person, even when it feels impossible.

Overall, the lyrics to "Dawn" are a testament to the power of love and the human spirit's ability to connect and persevere even in difficult times. The song speaks to the transformative nature of love and its ability to sustain us through even the darkest of nights.

A clean home makes me feel happy. What she said about a “tangible result” was spot on. I like seeing a clean room and knowing that I did that.

So true!!!! 💗
Cleanliness is happiness.

People used to have wood stoves and they burnt coal. It makes a mess. Soot and ash. When it got warm they didn’t need the stove so they cleaned everything. Spring cleaning. Then it started again in the fall. I think spring cleaning is a habit passed down.

exactly! it was a survival thing! also it was hard tp keep up with the washing, when nothing muchcould dry outside, but only in front of the smokey, sooty fire.

totally 👍 agree, I could not live in a messy or dirty home.

Sugar Spring

In my family we have a few that lean in the other direction - where there can't be even one extra thing in the home or one thing out of place

Have you ever heard about Obsessive Decluttering? Be careful about the unintended consequences of an imbalanced viewpoint.

I can't do it physically and HATE IT!

Sugar Spring

Same here. It is very stressful and frustrating. It looks like due to my physical condition I might qualify for free cleaning 2 or 3 times a week & I'm definitely going to take advantage of that.
