The lyrics to Marcelo's song "Geto" revolve around the topic of the ghetto and the struggles that come with living in such an environment. The singer starts off by urging a fellow rapper to focus on creating a song about the ghetto because they don't yet have one. The repetitive chorus of "Geto" emphasizes the importance of this topic and serves as a reminder of what the song is about. The verses then delve deeper into the singer's personal experiences in the ghetto, with references to drugs and the hardships that come with living there. The use of street slang and repetition adds to the authenticity of the rap and creates an immersive experience for the listener.
Overall, the song carries a message about the reality of living in the ghetto and highlights the struggles that many people face. It serves as a representation of the experiences and stories that come from this type of neighborhood and showcases the importance of addressing these issues through music.
