Beautiful Stranger
Marcus King Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Beautiful stranger
You come here quite often
I don′t know your name
But I know what you drink

You got a secret
But it's one you can′t keep
Oh, beautiful stranger
You're an angel to me

So if you're feeling lonely
Come sit next to me
We′ll find a slow song
To dance to, and strangers
No longer we′ll be

Beautiful stranger
So lovely tonight
Could it be my future
That I see in your eyes

Take me to heaven
And do as you please
Oh, beautiful stranger
You're an angel to me

Beautiful stranger
You come here quite often
I don′t know your name
But I know what you drink

You got a secret
But it's one you can′t keep
Oh, beautiful stranger
You are like an angel to me

Beautiful stranger
You are like an angel to me

Oh my word. I’m 62 years old. Came across this a few weeks ago on here. Today I took delivery of eldorado. I’m listening to it as I write this with tears rolling down my face, I have never been so overwhelmed by a musical performance. This fine young man is musical genius.

I am 59, and it also brought tears to my eyes! It makes me think of my husband, and the tears come more. He would have loved the blues of this song!

Well I'm 66 and have enjoyed this young man's music since I ran across he and Billy Strings playing Lonesome Fugitive in a guitar shop. Way back then I knew this man was going places. And man, has he been great. I listen to one of his songs at least once a day. 👍🤗
