Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

I turn around I walk away
There's nothing else that I can say

I turn around I walk away
But you won't see me..
There's nothing else that I can say
But you won't see me cry

This song was a game changer for me, its what really threw me into my love for trance. Several years ago after attending GDF we went to an after hours club (didnt really know who was djing, we were just young and wanted to party) and it just so happened that a legend was playing into the later am. The music being played captured me in a way that no other music had before. Turns out the DJ playing was Markus Schulz. I looked up his whole catalogue and devoured it, remembering hearing a lot of it that one night. Granted his style was a lot more progressive back then and he wasn't deemed the unicorn slayer, he opened me up to the world of trance and has captivated my attention ever since. I can't even count the amount of times ive seen him since, but I can say that everytime is special. Markus Schulz remains true to trance, his fans, his radio show, his label and the quality of his productions. He truly is one of a kind, a legend, and in my opinion the real king of trance.

@alienkid

He used to have a radio show in Phoenix every sunday night. He introduced me to an entirely new world that I had been searching for but didn't know existed.

@timoklap

i was searching this song for 13 years...

@Drew-C-

If you saw him in 2005, that was a great year for his live sets. I saw him twice that year, one of the two times i actually went to dinner with him and armin van buuren before they played. It was a great year for trance in general.
