Am I the only one but Danielle Rose Russell, omg, she's a brilliant actress, I love her acting, so raw and real and that daughter/father scene with Joseph Morgan, best scene in episode two. In this season they work a lot with symbols and hints. I already knew Hope took her mum, when Kol said to her there will always be trouble in New Orleans or something like that so that someone (Klaus) returns. I know maybe it's stupid and Roman's just supposed to be Hope's love interest and nothing more in the series, but there is something about this guy I don't like and he is a kid of course, so it's just a thought, but I don't trust Roman.
Also, I guess we will see Aurora again because Roman mentioned her and Julie Plec gives little hints about the storyline. I don't know, it's just a guess. They really want to make it epic, really biblical with the snakes. The snake is a symbol for guilt. The snake coming out of Hope's mouth is a symbol for Hope's guilt.

If you remember Klaus always taught Marcel to close his eyes and sing. Marcel told Hope to do the same when she freed him and he protected her. This had potential to be the greatest show ever. My favorite season is still when they took on Dahlia. Always and forever.

He destroyed my whole family and took my brothers illegally to Arizona and my mom went bankrupt because of him and had to live in a apartment and not a house anymore. She honestly doesn't know which is her real dad the the monster or the one that tucks her in at night and talls are princess. They're both her dad. Can't really protect her forever. I’m disappointed with her too. Your entire family got ripped apart JUST to keep you safe, Klaus May have his faults but he’s loyal and the best father she can ask for so the whole bratty crap is annoying. Maybe if we had an extra season to spare I’d tolerate it but nope we have ONE! So I’d like to see less tears and more Mikaelson greatness thank you very much. I can’t wait for the family to be back together and hopefully hope grows the hell up.
On another note 👀 the show doesn’t suck.

Can someone explain I️ haven’t got to see season 5 yet I’m finishing up finals but why is Hope saying you should’ve came back, and I’ve waited for you, like I️ thought the whole reason he couldn’t be in her life cause otherwise the black magic / witches would find that she is still alive? So Klaus and everyone else had to be as far away as possible. Like maybe yeah he could’ve FaceTimed her like everyone else’s did except for Elijah but he couldn’t be with her. You're very welcome. Just to give you a bit more detail, the reason why they separated was because of the an extremely power evil witch spirit called Hollow that possessed Hope. So, with a little bit a magic here and there, Vincent found a way to split the Hollow into four, one going into each Original - Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah and Kol. If anyone them were to ever come into contact with one another (including Hope), it'll risk having the Hollow come back into fruition, thus endangering Hope along with any other innocent bystander. Now, if you're wondering why Elijah lost his memory, to put it simply, he intentionally had himself get compelled by Marcel to forget all memories from his siblings including New Orleans. The reason why is because Elijah, considering all of his noble character, is stricken with a horrible curse that has spanned for over a millenia - his eternal obligation to swoop in and save his brother Klaus. Without his family, Klaus wouldn't be able survive (mentally) and eventually, Klaus will go complete bonkers, and as always, older brother Elijah will feel compelled to save Klaus as he always does. However much love he has for his brother and including friends and kin, this will only bring torment and suffering to Elijah as his only purpose in life was to 'save' his wretched brother from whatever kind of depravity he has fallen into. So, after splitting the Hollow's soul and infusing it to each Original, Elijah asks Vincent and Marcel to completely ensure that he never remembers or see his siblings again. No more suffering, familial loyalty, love or your average Mikaelson drama. It finally gives Elijah some peace he hasn't had ever since he was turned into an Original. Hope this helps. Badum tss.
