Zager has produced Grammy Award winning artists: Whitney Houston, Cissy Houston, Gladys Knight, Peabo Bryson, Luther Vandross, Deniece Williams, Jennifer Holliday, Joe Williams, Arturo Sandoval, Herb Alpert, Olatunji, and The Spinners. He also co-wrote the Patti Day hit "Right Before My Eyes" with Alexander Forbes. Some of Zager’s original scores and original studio recordings of Whitney Houston, The Spinners, and the Michael Zager Band, reside in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.

Zager was a member of Ten Wheel Drive from 1968-1973.

Didn't know this track, but Michael Zager was on the news talking about Whitney earlier. He mentioned she had recorded vocals on this track. I met Whitney in March 1985 in London and raved about her for ages before she made it big in the UK.

last night the sun set in the wintry but clear sky's over London never had i seen such a beautiful sunset with the sun glowing dark red from the bottom to a bright orange at the top and just then you could make out the shape of a aircraft as it flew across the face of the sun. Spectacular something you don't see often if at all in a life time. I woke the next morning to the devastating news,Whitney was a big part of millions of people, today is a day for reflection a day to look back at history.
