What a great mashup. The two singers voice are mixed in the moments where they fits each other, and where there is a kind of conversation between them: "I never want to start a war" - "Nothing compares to you". It is very well heard that the harmonies fits each other, and the video demonstrates the conversation, blending Miley and Sineads faces in and out in a well-thought cinematographic mode.

Alas, most viewers here thinkt this to be a competition / comparation between the two singers, but I am pretty satisfied that that was not what the mashup-producer had in mind. This is not a video of "who is best" - it is an interpretation of two iconic songs.

This convergence of audio and video is brilliant. The person who heard it in his/her head, then made it a reality has my undying respect. "Talent all around", I say, in this video experience. I always had a crush on Sinead O'Connor but didn't pay much attention as i grew older to Miley Cyrus. I may not be a Miley fan overall, but in this video she is worthy of a (sort-of) 'duet' with her worthy predecessor and source of inspiration. These women are talented, strong, and beautiful. I am uplifted!

I really like the juxtaposition cuz it highlights different aspects of each song
O'Connor has a very natural face and occasional tears, so she seems more collect and composed
but Miley is someone on the verge of a breakdown. despite her intense amount of make up she cries more, her nose runs, her spit clings between her teeth. She's breaking at the seams and I think her almost excessive sadness is appropriate for the intense image of a wrecking ball

I love the combo here. Sounds great. Sinead's version of 2U is my favorite (and I'm a huge Prince fan and actually bought the original Family album in the early 80's). Gotta say that Miley has grown on me, tho'. Her version of Jolene, for example. Not really feeling the two Nine Inch Nails remakes, but she seems to have a lot of versatility. I've honestly never heard any other Sinead O'Connor songs in my life, sooo.
