The song Tori Olorun by Mo'Cheddah is a vibrant, upbeat track with catchy lyrics that blend English and Yoruba languages. The song opens with the repeated phrase "Sabu la fi n san wo, san wo, san wo" which, in Yoruba, roughly means "let them know who you are." Mo'Cheddah then goes on to encourage listeners to live their lives to the fullest and not let anyone stop them. She expresses her confidence and determination to succeed, despite the negativity and hate that she may face.
The lyrics in the chorus "Tori tori tori Olorun" which means "because of God" suggest that Mo'Cheddah attributes her strength and success to God. She also refers to an aeroplane, perhaps symbolizing her rise to fame and success. The line "them say Mo'cheddah look at you, you don dey buga too" means that she is being talked about negatively but she will not let it bring her down. She encourages her listeners to have the same confidence and not let the opinions of others dictate their lives.
Overall, Tori Olorun is a song that celebrates individuality, confidence, and perseverance. Mo'Cheddah's use of both Yoruba and English languages adds to the cultural richness of the song.
