Maychelle Baay (vocals/guitars); Herbert Hernandez (guitars); Paolo Bernaldo (bass); Bon Sundiang (drums) came up with a very apt title TODO COMBO! While most bands’ music grows but personally drifts apart, this group confesses that their journey together has grown further from being mere band members to a band fully-bonded by experiences on and off the road.
Four individuals with careers outside the band – the restaurateur and music video director Paolo, advertising guy Herbert; radio marketer Bon; and clinical researcher Maysh- has emerged with a fresh and positive spin to songs such as Tadhana, Can’t Stop, Migraine and their much-lauded version of APO classic Panalangin. Tracks such as Di Kasi, Late Ka Na Naman, Bintana, and their YANO remake – Senti, meanwhile, remain faithful to the band’s trademark sound.

Moonstar88 Lyrics

When you're astray
Alone these things you can't pay
But all the sufferings He made
Sufficient for you
A life you gain
Thanks thanks cause happiness is
Your promise
What you've done
And what He still gives
He's faithful, loving, forgiving
That's something you can't do
Without Him
There's nothing you can do
Without Him
Thanks, thanks cause happiness is your promise
Thanks, thanks cause peace
And bliss you'll always give
"Moonstar88's Thanks" is a song that conveys the idea of thanking God for all the blessings in life. The lyrics speak of a time when one feels lost, alone, and unable to pay for the hardships that life brings. However, the song gives comfort in stating that all of the sufferings that one endures are enough to gain a fulfilling life, and that happiness and a promise of peace are always there for those who keep their faith in God. The song encourages listeners to take a moment to reflect on the good things in life, such as the blessings that God gives, and to express gratitude for them.
The verses "When you're away / When you're astray / Alone these things you can't pay / But all the sufferings He made / Sufficient for you" showcase a sense of helplessness and despair, but the chorus "Thanks thanks cause happiness is your promise / Thanks, thanks cause peace / And bliss you'll always give" offers hope and reassurance that there is light at the end of the tunnel. The rest of the song emphasizes that life without God is purposeless, that all the things one can achieve require the grace of God, and that He is always faithful, loving, and forgiving.
