I'm So Horny
Mousse T. Lyrics

Is it 'cause I'm cool
Why you dress like me is it honesty or you just a fool
Is it 'cause I'm cool
Why the school kids laugh cause the papers got it wrong again
Is it 'cause I'm cool
Take a piece of me serve me up on a plate in your restaurant

Is it 'cause I'm cool
Is it 'cause I'm cool

Is it 'cause I'm fly
'Cause I said what I said when I said what I said but I didn't say
Is it 'cause I'm hip
Why you dig my shit and you say I am a fan now I understand
Is it 'cause I'm hot
Why you mention me in your V.I.P memories

Is it 'cause I'm cool
Is it 'cause I'm cool

I ain't buying or selling today
I'm just looking around
For some decent conversation
No hidden agenda
No phony pretender
No holding on out for no sweet sixteen
Or peppermint dream
I'll call you please don't call me

Is it 'cause I'm cool
Is it 'cause I'm cool

Is it 'cause I'm Smart
Why you break my heart with the lies you tell baby kiss and tell
Is it 'cause I'm wrong
That you jump right in with no discipline baby sink or swim
Is it 'cause we're friends why you use my name just to entertain yeah

Is it 'cause I'm cool
Is it 'cause I'm cool

Time keeps ticking and running away
And It's taking us fast to a brand new free dimension
Too cool to mention well that's the intention
But some of us too dame blind to see
It's setting us free
To say goodbye to jealousy

Is it 'cause I'm cool
Is it 'cause I'm cool

Overall Meaning

The song "Is it Cos I'm Cool" by Mousse T (feat. Emma Lanford) is a reflection on the idea of perception and how it affects people's behavior towards someone they deem as "cool." The lyrics discuss various situations where people copy, follow or use the singer's name to entertain others, and question whether these actions are because of their perceived coolness or any other motive.

In the first verse, the lyrics ask why others dress like the singer or laugh when the papers got it wrong, insinuating that people follow blindly without any understanding or knowledge. The second verse talks about fans digging the singer's songs and mentioning them in their VIP memories, questioning whether it's because they are hip or inspiring.

The third verse talks about the singer not being interested in any sweet sixteen or peppermint dreams and looking for genuine conversations without any hidden agenda or phony pretenders. The fourth verse talks about heartbreak caused by false promises, jumping in without any discipline and using the singer's name for entertainment purposes.

Overall, the song is an introspective look at the idea of coolness and what it means to people. It emphasizes the importance of being authentic and genuine and urges people to break free from jealousy and embrace freedom.

I was in Ibiza Spain with my girlfriend we walked to a local bar to have a drink. The lead singer was the bartender. She and her husband lived in Liverpool then moved to Spain. And bought this bar near the water She sang this song for us while we sat there. She and her husband were cool as hell.

2024 anyone?

I LOVE THE CARS ❤️. My family used to have a 65 Chevy Impala station wagon exactly like that. I loved getting into the "way back" luggage area and watch the view and play. If a parent allowed this today they would probably get arrested, a visit from Child Protection Services and court ordered parenting classes. The 1970s especially the early 70s were a completely different world.

Such a banger in 2023 🔥🔥
