The lead singer is been working on the band for several years and has lived a year in London where he has searched the true roots of garage-rock.
After playing a few years as amateurs, Mozes and the Firstborn started to receive a lot of attention from all the major Dutch record labels last year.
They built their own studio, quit side jobs and studied and spent months non-stop in their basement studio, practicing and creating new songs.
After this, they signed a good contract with the record label Top Notch. They have released their self-titled debut album on the 2nd of March.

Mozes And The Firstborn Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Where the fruit has no taste
Babe I'll take you to a world without seasons
Where our love is just a waste
We'll have fun we'll be sedated
We won't be loved, we won't be hated
Babe I'll take you to a world without seasons
Where our love is just a game
We'll wake up and be ashamed
We'll have fun we'll be sedated
We won't be loved, we won't be hated
Babe I'll take you to a world without seasons
I'll corrupt your infant mind
Babe I'll take you to a world without seasons
Where the one-eyed man is blind
We'll have fun we'll be sedated
We won't be loved, we won't be hated
We'll have fun we'll be sedated
We won't be loved, we won't be hated
The lyrics to "Seasons" by Mozes and the Firstborn are cryptic and open to interpretation. At first glance, it seems like a love song, with the singer expressing a desire to take their lover to a place without seasons. The repeated refrain of "we'll have fun we'll be sedated / we won't be loved, we won't be hated" suggests a vision of blissful ignorance, where the harsh realities of life do not intrude. However, as the song progresses, it becomes clear that this is not a utopia, but a dystopia. The world without seasons has no fruit, and the love between the singer and their lover is just a game. They will go to bed "ashamed," and the singer promises to "corrupt [their lover's] infant mind." The implication is that this world is not a desirable one, but rather a trap that the singer is leading their lover into.
The second half of the song introduces a new element: the one-eyed man who is blind. This is a paradoxical image that suggests a world where things are not as they seem. The world without seasons may seem perfect on the surface, but the singer knows that it is corrupt and hollow. The final repetition of "we'll have fun we'll be sedated / we won't be loved, we won't be hated" takes on a darker, more sinister tone as it becomes clear that the singer is not offering a place of refuge, but rather a descent into darkness.
Overall, "Seasons" is a complex and unsettling song that raises more questions than it answers. The meaning is left up to the listener to interpret, but the overall impression is one of unease and discomfort, as the singer leads their lover into a world that is not what it seems.
