@@jamesaritchie1 yes it can be. It's great they team up with us when they realize you aren't a threat and have good intentions, but let them be hungry for too long. You'll find it won't care after some point, as is the case when you take monkeys and 9tger types of animals and raise them. At some point, a wild animal just gets wild again. It's why it takes MANY years to domesticate a species, and doing so kills amuck of their original appeal.

Yeah, it's a heartwarming story. Just nothing about it is even vaguely true. There is a quick splice of video of a tiger? (just killed), a dog on an exam table at a vet (no explanation), a cheetah...over and over... in heavily forested territory very unlike cheetah's African savannah. And, near the end, a zoo shot of a snow leopard. No shots of a common leopard, who, btw, would have instantly killed those "bad guys" if he were wanting to do so. And the good guy, too.

You may be an animal lover. So am I, but you don't seem to know much about these animals. Leopards, which are not even really in the video, are not kind loving creatures. In the wild they are the obligate carnivores that they are and would kill you for a quick easy meal instantly.
Yes, very young big cats can, in some rare cases, be more or less domesticated to a point. Kevin Richardson with his rescue project in South Africa has an amazing relationship with large cats and hyenas but his project is a huge exception done very professionally. You should definitely visit his site. Just YouTube the "Lion Whisperer." You'll find it.
There are a lot of stories of wild dangerous animals befriending humans in the wild, some probably true. But there are far more stories that are far less pleasant for the victims.

When I was in jr high school we found a road kill bobcat with 2 kittens one of which had also been hit we contacted the game department and the sent out a person from a wildlife shelter who took the healthy kitten but didn't think the other would survive . Living out in the foothills we offered to bury the mom and other kitten when it passed.
Needless to say I buried the mom and 14 years later the injured kitten. Because of its injuries we kept it as a pet it wouldn't have survived in the wild. But it was the most protective pet ever and a pissed off Bob cat can do a lot of damage to a person or dog , cat, or what ever it thinks is a threat

@@dannyhood8857 no it ate pretty much meat we are lucky to have a butcher shop literally just down the road a half mile and our families are good friends so the meat scraps that would often go to waste was our cat food.
There where a couple of times that it did try canned cat food. The bobcat looked at me like I was crazy trying to feed it that.

The story isn't remotely true. Wild leopards are not our adorable buddies. As a matter of fact after all of the centuries we have tried to hunt them down and kill them, as with all of the other big cats, I would think the surviving ones today would be inclined to have us right at the top of their enemie's list. And if they remember kindness I'm sure they remember being hunted almost to extinction! And can hold a generational grudge against us. I know I would.

Some years ago, I started feeding a crow in my front yard. One night I drove my Mercedes up the ramp and I saw the very crow above the top of the garage. It started crowing loudly! It flapped it wings and continued! It looked at me making more crow sounds. I then looked around through my driver's window and saw a man watching me! At that moment, I realized that the crow I was feeding was warning me of his presence! He soon walked away as I got out and entered the house! The crow then flew away making one more crow sound as I entered the house!

My son had a pet crow at age of 3. It was already trained so I guess it was someone else's and just liked my son. He was amazing. Only liked my son. We would put him to bed at night and open his window a little and the next morning you could hear him walking on the upstairs floor. Lol.

Oliver, a very good man is very than kind to his animal friends who remembered well. It is amazing how the cat knew his friend Oliver was being attacked by evil ones and came to Oliver's rescue. The three thugs returned to their natural environment that is the psyche m/medical ward of the prison.

Africa has leopards and cheetahs as shown in the video, but the primary animal is a tiger, and those live in Asia, not Africa. What are these videos that seem to be everywhere on the web that consistently show different people and animals than what the story depicts? And the condescending voice of the narrator sounds like he's talking to kindergartners. Is this a new feature of the New World Order that's taking shape all around the planet at this moment? We are being brainwashed to think Africans are superior to whites and that whites are the evil ones, though the facts prove the opposite. And we're being told little fairy tales like this to soften us up so we can love each other along with every living thing on planet earth, even gators and crocs. And hyenas and baboons. Cool story call story, poachers should be prosecuted severely. I’m not against hunting but poachers in danger species should be preserved. Hunters buy licenses to hunt and fish and the money goes to preserve land in higher wildlife officers to keep people honest and protect the wildlife. There’s nothing wrong with hunting for food and meat. I am not in favor of trophy hunting. And I’m OK with people who hung with camerasAnd or vegetarian’s. I’m not a vegetarian but I believe in conservation and using the land wisely as the Indians did. We are doing a really poor job of taking care of this world. The oceans are becoming so toxic we won’t be able to get the fish even in the lakes and rivers

I'm an animal lover big time. I've worked with domestic and wild life rehab. I truly don't know what I would do without critters. I love your shows but I noticed that the story about the little leopard the pics u choose where of several lg cats beautiful but I didn't see 1pic of a leopard. There are alot of folks that might be confused. You might think I'm crazy but there are children who have never even been to a zoo. Just saying. Keep at it your doing wonderful work.

Awesome story! Just goes to show that in times of tragedy something beautiful can grow out of it... (the death of the mother by hunters then the raising of her young leopard which ended up saving his life!)

I can appreciate all of her. Since that's a little girl My sanctuary was always in the woods that was where I was safe. I had a giant tree with a giant beehive which I take my afternoon naps under I've never been stung by a bee I actually believe in nature the animals always have taken care of me raccoons coyotes everything of course bees and wasps the only thing I don't trust is man so still to this day when I'm emotionally upset and I'm worried about stuff what I do is walk out in the woods and lay down and let nature protect me

Around 4:48 he claims he taught the Leopard to hunt with his bow and arrow. Something I would need to see to believe. That would be one for the book of world records for sure.

Leopards usually use their teeth, and claws for hunting using a bow, and an arrow would be strange for a Leopard.
