Tarantino did said that Mr Pink's fate was left up to the viewer. But he didn't said there wasn't enough information "hidden" for the interested viewer to be certain about it. The audio is there for you to find it, and after that, it is absolutelly clear that he survived but sadly was arrested. He is a great character, wish he had escaped.

OOOOHHHH... All the cops who arrived on the scene only know a tiny bit of information last minute: that there's armed robbers inside the building, and that they have an undercover cop in there somewhere. They wouldn't know who exactly the person is or what exactly they look like, it could have been anyone they've seen walking in and out of the police department all day. So they're ready to shoot someone coming out of the building only once their sure it's not the undercover cop. When he comes out and says he's a cop, they'll all be confused enough over the next few minutes he'll have plenty of time to escape. I'm not 100% sure what the shooting is. Could be they're shooting at someone else who turns out not to be dead and tries to flee with a gun out or something.

He definitely said "I got shot, godamnit" there were gunshots for a good 10 seconds before the cops came. Also, the cops in on the job definitely knew Freddy was the mole, as Marvin was introduced to him five months earlier, once again, probably when they were planning the sting. So if he was to try and trick them he'd only be net with handcuffs and or metal.

That's a real stretch. He clearly says "Don't shoot I've been shot, GD" It's not "I got shot" no one says that. If you pay attention to movies throughout history it's always "been" "I've been hit!" etc. In this particular instance, there's only one word and it's either "got" or "been". I've been reading a lot of folks trying to add an extra word in there and it doesn't make sense.

Alot of people say, "Tarantino said his fate is left up to the viewer." I disagree, firstly because in the screenplay he does get caught even though its never shown. And at this point in the film, and about a minute before you can hear alot of screaming and gunfire, and can distinctly hear "Get out of the fucking car!" a few times. So I think he gets caught by the police.

If Pink was arrested, he'd get Armed Robbery and assault of a Police Officer with a deadly weapon if the cop he shot during his escape lived. He'd get released, eventually. Nevertheless I like to think Mr Pink made it out alive, if only to think that all this shit ended with some worth rather than the posers selling the diamonds for cheap profit and no actual effort done, while people died in the pursuit of them. Eh, I don't know. I just like to think that.

OK here's my take on it either Mr pinks story about how he got to the warehouse is made up and hes saying don't shoot i got the stuff god dammit or he was telling the truth and really is a robber who inevitably gets shot at the end where he yells "don't shoot i got shot god dammit" and i think its the second one...

The key to the question on if Mr. Pink lives or dies is the caskets in the warehouse. In the end there us one casket for every character including Mr. Pink. Plus of course the audio.

Joe shoots Orange, White shoots Joe, Eddie shoots White, and White shoots Eddie back. Joe and Eddie die, White is wounded. Pink attempts to escape but is captured by the police. White cradles Orange who then reveals himself to be a cop. The police swarm the warehouse while White puts a gun to Orange's head in upset and frustration. White disobeys police orders and kills Orange, then immediately taken down in open fire by the police and killed. I hope that helps anyone who's trying to understand.

How would Marcellus know of this heist anyway? Only the people directly involved know about it and the're all dead.
Not only that, but if Vincent was sent specifically because it was a job his brother was involved in then they would have mentioned it at some point in Pulp Fiction (considering how personal it would've been for Vincent). Said cop somehow loses the loot or hides it. It's then found in Pulp Fiction. Or maybe pink goes after the cop and kills him after the cop lets him go but can't find the loot. He's laying low as a waiter in Pulp Fiction as a cameo so unless that's strictly a nod to pink (and supposed to be a different person)... it's likely he's had to reevaluate his life choices after almost getting killed or arrested and sent to jail for 10+ years and is stuck in his worst scenario. A waiter. But he's alive and no longer running with other crooks.

Mr Pink got out of the warehouse alright. He found out one of the diamonds had plutonium, enough to great 1.2 gigawatts of energy. He then met Mr Brown's Dad; Doc Brown. Pink, Marty McFly and Doc Brown went "Back to The Future 3" so infact they went back in time but not to the cowboy times, to 1920 Atlantic City. There Mr Pink admits to Doc and McFly that his name is actually Nucky Thompson. He uses the one diamond he still has to begin his boardwalk empire in the 1920's.The End

To me, the real twist of this movie was how much of a psychopath Mr. Pink was. He seemed relatively ''normal'' in this movie throughout, mostly because the film took place in such a criminal world where characters like Mr. Blonde walked around. In the end though, he had barely any reason to kill Nice Guy Eddie. Pink could've just been afraid Eddie was gonna shoot him next, but I think Pink just wanted the loot for himself.
