In the beginning, there was Jack, and Jack had a groove.
At the start of this musical revolution, there was Jack, who possessed a distinct rhythm.

And from this groove came the groove of all grooves.
From Jack's unique groove came the quintessential sound that defines this music genre.

And while one day viciously throwing down on his box, Jack boldy declared,
On one occasion, while intensely playing his music, Jack proclaimed with great confidence,

"Let there be house!" and house music was born.
"Let this music be called house!" Thus, a new music genre was officially born.

I am the creator, and this is my house!
I am the pioneer of this new musical movement, and this is where it all started.

And, in my house there is only house music. But, I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes OUR house and OUR house music!
My music is all about house, but I am not possessive of it. When you join in, it becomes our shared music and our shared experience.

And, you see, no one can own house because house music is a universal language, spoken and understood by all.
House music is not exclusive to anyone because it can be communicated and appreciated by everyone.

You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house.
House is not just a sound, but an emotional experience that cannot be appreciated unless you immerse yourself in it.

House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body.
House music inspires an instinctive urge to move and dance in a passionate, carefree way.

And, as I told you before, this is our house and our house music.
Again, I emphasize that this music and experience belongs to all of us who are sharing it together.

And in every house, you understand, there is a keeper. And, in this house, the keeper is Jack.
Just like in a physical house, there is a caretaker who maintains and preserves it. In this musical 'house', that role is filled by Jack.

Now some of you who might wonder.
I understand that some of you may be curious to ask.

Who is Jack, and what is it that Jack does?
Who is this iconic figure, and what is his role in this music scene?

Jack is the one who gives you the power to jack your body!
Jack inspires and motivates you to dance with passion and freedom.

Jack is the one who gives you the power to do the snake.
He empowers you to dance in a sensual, serpentine way.

Jack is the one who gives you the key to the wiggly worm.
He teaches you how to perform a dynamic dance style called the 'wiggly worm.'

Jack is the one who learns you how to walk your body.
He shows you how to move your body in a way that feels natural, exciting, and expressive.

Jack is the one that can bring nations and nations of all Jackers together under one house.
Jack is the unifying force that can bring people of all backgrounds together to enjoy this music as one united community.

You may be black, you may be white; you may be Jew or Gentile.
Your ethnicity, race, or religion does not matter in this space.

It don't make difference in our House.
We are all united by our shared love of this music, and our differences are not a source of division here.

And this is fresh!
This may be a new and unfamiliar experience for some of you, but it is exciting, innovative, and alive.
