NAOKI Lyrics

Shining oh so bright
Guiding you to fight your way to what you want for your own
Nothing is easy
You've got to be strong
Gotta stand up for what you believe
A true heart
Sometimes interfere what's in your thoughts
Blocking out what flows out from your mind
Blinding what you feel deep inside of your heart
Learning to turn down what you don't believe
Picking the words that you really do need
Helps you to find all the answers that you are looking for
You're looking for the light
Shining oh so bright
Guiding you to fight your way to what you want for your own
Nothing is easy
You've gotta be strong
Gotta stand up for what you believe
A true heart
Don't let them take away
What's in you heart don't play
By their own rules make it on your own
You're looking for the light
Guiding you to fight your way to what you want for your own
Nothing is easy
You've gotta be strong
Gotta stand up for what you believe
A true heart
Shining oh so bright
Guiding you to fight your way to what you want for your own
Nothing is easy
You've got to be strong
Gotta stand up for what you believe
A true heart
NAOKI's song "will" serves as an uplifting anthem that encourages individuals to stay true to themselves and not let anyone else dim their light or influence their decisions. The lyrics specifically underscore the importance of being strong and standing up for what one believes in, even if it means going against the words of others. The opening lines urge the listener to continue searching for their path, even if the journey seems difficult or uncertain. The phrase "you're looking for the light shining oh so bright" emits a sense of hope and guidance, serving as a beacon of positivity in the midst of doubt or hesitation.
The chorus repeats several times throughout the song, seemingly driving the message home. Nothing comes easy, and it's imperative to be resilient and firm in one's convictions. The mention of "a true heart" once again emphasizes the importance of being authentic and genuine in one's outlook and decision-making. Furthermore, the second verse touches on the idea of others potentially standing in the way of one's growth or happiness. The line "listening to others' words sometimes interferes with what's in your thoughts" is a poignant reminder to trust one's intuition and to not let others sway one's perspective.
The final stanza of the song calls for the listener to take control of their life and not allow others to dictate their path. "Don't let them take away what's in your heart. Don't play by their own rules, make it on your own" speaks to the idea of self-determination and self-actualization. The sonorous repetition of the chorus at the end of the song further reiterates the message of staying steadfast in one's purpose and being unapologetic in one's self-expression.
