When I Fall in Love
Natalie Cole & Nat King Cole Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

When I fall in love it will be forever
Or I'll never fall in love
In a restless world like this is
Love is ended before it's begun
And too many moonlight kisses
Seem to cool in the warmth of the sun

When I give my heart it will be completely
Or I'll never give my heart
And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you.

And the moment I can feel that you feel that way too
Is when I fall in love with you.

I always tell people when I start to feel for someone they can't mess around with imy heart 💔 for when it hurts it makes me cry,😭. I can't love again because I can't afford to lose. I have suffered my share of losses so unless people are sincere please, especially when we know there's something we can do about it 🌿🌿🌹 we got to let it go!! Beautiful song❤

@truckereleven

I am deeply saddened by the death of Natalie, partly, I suppose, because it means the end of the Cole line of singers that I have been fortunate to have been witness to. I grew up with Nat and loved this song, and when Natalie joined her father's voice with hers, it was magic. Her death is not only a loss for the present music world, but a loss for all of us that remember her and her father through the years.
