The group is led by Arciom Lukjanienka (vocals, guitar) and Ksienija Žuk (vocals, keyboards). Most of their songs are performed in the Belarusian language. The first work group was the song «Абдымі мяне», which was released in the summer of 2013. In 2014, they released their first album, «Лови».

In 2016, NAVIBAND was announced as a participant in the Belarusian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song «Гэта зямля». They ended up placing fourth in the national final.

The following year, they returned with the song «Гісторыя майго жыцця» and won in the national final. They have represented Belarus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 and took the 17th place in the final.
