Thank you so much for bringing more cases to light. You're doing such an amazing thing. Despite the inability to do anything about some cases, it truly makes the people more alert with surroundings and shows the huge difference it makes to keep an eye out for one another.

This Miya case is terrifying. I’ve always thought about maintenance men having the ability to break in whenever they want, and if you get the wrong maintenance man anything can happen to you. This is horrifying. One time I was at my best friend’s house when I was 21 and we were so close she would leave me there alone when she went to work. I was there alone in her bedroom with the door shut when I heard the front door open, heard someone come up the stairs, and go into the bathroom. I had never been so scared in my life. Terror isn’t the word. She didn’t tell me that the maintenance guy was coming. I was ready to fight if he tried coming into the room and had “911” typed on my phone ready to go.

As someone who has experienced acute PTSD twice and who has trauma-related disorders (borderline, OCD), I would NEVER say that trauma makes you stronger. I find that very misleading and dismissive.

Ty for sharing “alleged ex” video. I’m assuming, SOME people who are likely to view your channel and content may need to hear those things. I felt what she was saying. Society needs awareness and education on DV/abuse for preventative measures, community support for healing, and providing the judgement free help for those who need it.
PLEASE everyone reading this, be aware and don’t ask any survivor “Why didn’t you just leave?”
Trust me they ask themselves that every day and it could trigger a lot of trauma, guilt and shame possibly reversing their healing process.

I lived in a college town and moved into a townhome after graduation. The maintenance guy lived next door to me. One day I came home and there was a package (box--I had ordered something on-line) sitting in the middle of my living room. The maintenance guy at that moment popped his head in and told me he was worried it would be stolen......Be careful ladies...esp. when you are in teens and 20's.

She’s so right! She made some great points! I agree with her 100%. I once was in an abusive relationship I can relate! People who are abusive would manipulate you and brainwash you to making you believe that nobody could love you the way they do. They would always remind you that nobody would want you! I was also young at the time and absolutely thought that I was nothing. Until his own mother saw it and told me to divorce her own son coz I deserve better! That’s when I knew, I was brainwashed!

The problem I have with the ones saying that it's too much coverage of one race and not another from you is this.... When I hear about Gabby or when I hear about Miya I don't see their race or skin color I see a human being, someones baby that is missing or worse that needs our help. Why are all these people focused on the race of the person when what really matters is the person themselves because wherever they are I can guarantee you the last thing on their mind is their race... What they are worried about is getting home safely or thinking "is my family even gonna be able to find my body"!!! Anyone bringing race into it is heartless, plain and simple!!

You get fooled into staying thinking if I can prove myself it will fix the problem- that’s why I had such a hard time leaving. Trauma bond and invisible shackles are a real thing. I didn’t get councilor after the first toxic relationship and ended up in 3 more ( I been in a total of 4 relationships, the most toxic ones were men convinced I should let them take care of me cuz I’m so dumb). It makes you blind to red flags after a toxic relationship make sure you get counseling even if you think you figured it out. People abused during childhood are prime targets For covert narcissist, just because my boyfriends were less abusive than my dad made me think they were good, when they hurt me I thought it was me that caused them to change, I ruined my life trying to be their idea of perfect— I’m a shell of my self I’m old now and never met a man who might have actually liked me for me. Now I don’t know who I am, what I like, or what my goals should be because I never got to be me I only got to figure out how to survive from age 2 to 49.

Thousands of us are connected through this. My situation could have ended the same. I was able to find another couple who believed me & let me stay with them until we could get to the police. Narcissism is at epidemic proportions. It has grown exponentially with the rid of social media. Even though those with Narcissistic Personality Disorder have always existed, there's far more now than ever before.
And 2-3 generations now were raised in divorced, abusive or addictive families which help create these personality disorders. (NOT ALL.. just saying divorce and dysfunction became the norm in late 80s/90s)

My last ex was an abusive narcissist. He never hit me, he would hit things out of irrational rage. His abuse was verbal, he would gaslight me, and after love bombing me to get me to date him he got cold and distant. He would give the bare minimum to keep me attached and made me think he cared about me. He was nice most of the time, if I behaved, but he would insult me, yell, threaten to break up, and then ignore me for days or weeks if I questioned any of his behaviour. I was hospitalized for asthma three times while we dated but he never came or called me after. He told me I wouldn’t die from asthma. That was his reason. Because of his irrational way of dealing with issues i set up couples counseling, which he agreed to, but then refused to go and said everything was my fault. I thought he loved me and if he realized he was hurting me he would stop. But they know exactly what they’re doing to the people they date. They know it hurts you, they just don’t care. This is what prevents a lot of people from leaving an abusive partner. Never date a narcissist. If they show any signs of narcissism just break up. It’s not worth the suffering and pain and they will never love you and the abuse will destroy you

I felt like someone was opening my door, peeking in, and closing my apartment door at night. I could hear it from my bedroom. No chains allowed due to fire codes. I propped a folding chair against the door. It rattled quite loudly one night. Never heard it open at night again. I have no idea what motive was going on but I thought maybe casing to see if I was gone. But I sleep with lights on. When I heard her door was barricaded, made me wonder if it was her or the maintenance man

I heard the theory he was a human trafficker which is absolutely possible, but I think it’s simpler than that…. I think he took her somewhere until she would return his affections but then he realized he was gonna be in trouble and didn’t know what to do so he killed his self….I hope she is found safe…. This case isnt getting more attentionbwcause of color! It stands out because there is so much public information for everyone to look at. A blog presenting the couples travel and relationship, an hour long police encouter( body cam footage) that happened several weeks before her disappearance. Brian's own bizarre and known actions of leaving,going back etc. Usually all the info. People know is a picture, a brief family interview. This is unlike other cases in this way, it's the couple own media presence which made it stand out. That's just my opinion.

The AFC Podcast had the same issue. Someone saying the attention on this case. He is great and covers all too. His main focus is on children. If you can check out his Gabby video. He checked the person making assumptions and trolling. It's a about the victim and awareness. Your doing a great job. Keep it up.

To be honest, videos are abit long for me. But good content. So thank u . been following the Petito case and cannot wait until this guy is caught. Its crazy for ppl to take Brian's side. Because if he was innocent he would of at least stated where he saw her past which could of possibly saved her life

Is it possible that the Laundrie family's attorney is in possession of Gabby's personal items in which Brian and his parents removed from Gabby's van upon Brian's return to Florida: Laptop, iphone, camera equipment, purse, I.D./Driver's license, etc.? If so, can the F.B.I. raid the attorney's home, office, safety deposit boxes, etc.?

Also, there were indeed MANY visible bruises on Gabby's body, on the day of the Moab, Utah police stop. WHY didn't the Moab police officers (especially, the female officer) bother to take notice of it, or record that fact in their report? WE ALL clearly saw those bruises on Gabby's arms, thigh, ankles, and calves!!
