The song "Il Giardiniere" by Niccolò Fabi is about a relationship between two people where one is likened to a garden and the other, a gardener. The first verse starts with the lines "Tu sei il giardino e io sono il giardiniere, tu sei la gioia e io sono il gioielliere", which means "You are the garden and I am the gardener, you are joy and I am the jeweler". The next line then says "tu sei la stalla e io sono lo stalliere", which means "you are the stable and I am the stableman". These lines indicate that the relationship between the two people is like that of a caretaker and a cared-for.

The second verse of the song talks about the responsibilities of the gardener towards the garden. The lines "Penso che dovrò annaffiare i frutti dentro di te, penso che dovrò coltivarti un po' di più" means "I think I'll have to water the fruits inside of you, I think I'll have to cultivate you a bit more".
