Queens, Queens
Ayo Fendi this the Jump Off right here nigga

Ms minaj lil mama get a taste of the hot sauce
Itty bitty real pretty but I'm not soft
I beat bitches with the heat like I'm Scott Storch
In the ocean is where they gettin' dropped off
All I wanna do is party rock some Ed Hardy and 40/40
You arrive when it just get started
I come through at 2 and I don't get carded
Excuse me I had to beg ya pardon
Mami your flow sick my flow's retarded
Cause you can say something and you won't be sick
But uh I can't help muh retarded chick
Cause my flow stupid wheelchair bound
Take the small bus all year round
That bitch hop out with a helmet on her head
Bottle of new meds good pair of keds

[Chorus:]
Where my chicks
All my girls that'll transport bricks
Got some mack lip gloss on ya lips
Keep a real good jean on ya hips
You can get it
And to my dudes
If you keep a good bitch in ya crew
And you rock a good mother fuckin' suit
And you got a lil' tree on ya boots
You can get it

Nicki and Dirty Money shit ya draws
When I count to three hit the floor
Damn lil mama pick up ya jaw
That's here the Chevy 64
You that bitch I'm the boss
I'm a have my bodyguard dust me off
Cause I think I might have some dirt on my shoulder
Call my nigga light with the money green rover
I'm the boss bitch pink links and the brinks
Rockin' the corset sip drinks in my minks
Call my nigga Gravy that's the big baby
Tell him I said maybe he should bring the trey p
Already know these lames is gonna hate
But uh lately it only motivates me
Want it with the squad gotta come through me
I hit the dance floor nigga 1-2-3

[Chorus]

Line by Line Meaning

Ms minaj lil mama get a taste of the hot sauce
I am Nicki Minaj and in this song, I am referring to myself as 'Ms Minaj'. I am telling a young woman to experience the heat and ferocity of my flow in this song.

Itty bitty real pretty but I'm not soft
Although I may appear small and pretty on the outside, don't underestimate me because I am tough and powerful.

I beat bitches with the heat like I'm Scott Storch
I am emphasizing my musical prowess and declaring that I can 'beat' other female rappers by creating hotter and more electrifying music than they can, much like how Scott Storch produces chart-topping hits.

In the ocean is where they gettin' dropped off
I am implying that other female rappers cannot keep up with me and are metaphorically 'drowning' in the fierce competition. They are getting dropped off or left behind while I continue to excel.

All I wanna do is party rock some Ed Hardy and 40/40
I want to have a good time and celebrate my success by wearing designer clothes and drinking the best liquor (in reference to the fashion brand Ed Hardy and the upscale sports bar and lounge 40/40 Club).

You arrive when it just get started
I am stating that I am always early to the party and never miss a beat. I am always at the forefront of the music industry and the center of attention.

I come through at 2 and I don't get carded
Even though I am already established and successful, I am still young and fresh, and don't need to prove myself (as would be done by showing identification to be served alcohol).

Excuse me I had to beg ya pardon
I am politely apologizing for potentially disrupting someone else in the music industry, as I am taking center stage and challenging their position.

Mami your flow sick my flow's retarded
I am acknowledging another female rapper's strong musical ability, but at the same time, declaring that my flow is so exceptional and unique that it is beyond ordinary or 'retarded'.

Cause you can say something and you won't be sick
I am insinuating that other rappers may have good lines, but they won't be able to outdo my incredible musical talent and originality.

But uh I can't help muh retarded chick
I am playfully referring to myself as a 'retarded chick', meaning I am unique and different, and I can't help but continue to create out-of-the-box music that sets me apart from others in the industry.

Cause my flow stupid wheelchair bound
I am exaggerating and praising the level of 'sickness' or uniqueness that my flow possesses by saying it would be so difficult to handle that it would require being in a wheelchair to cope with it.

Take the small bus all year round
I am playfully suggesting that I am so different and special that I would need to take a small bus to get around every day, as I wouldn't fit in with everyone else.

That bitch hop out with a helmet on her head
I am describing a hypothetical situation where an overly cautious person would wear a helmet everywhere they go, and comparing this to how I am undeniably unique and attention-grabbing.

Bottle of new meds good pair of keds
I am using wordplay with 'new meds' and 'keds' (a brand of sneaker) to continue emphasizing how different, fresh, and unique my style is.

Where my chicks
I am calling out to all the women who support and identify with my music and message.

All my girls that'll transport bricks
I am using the phrase 'transport bricks' as a metaphor for being able to handle heavy or difficult situations, and calling out to my female fans who are just as strong and capable as men.

Got some mack lip gloss on ya lips
I am recognizing and celebrating the beauty of my female fans, saying they have the confidence and boldness to wear intense or dramatic makeup like 'mack lip gloss'.

Keep a real good jean on ya hips
I am calling out to my female fans who always know how to dress well and have a sense of style, often incorporating jeans as a staple piece in their outfits.

You can get it
I am saying that my fans can have my respect, support, and attention, as they are willing to support my music and message.

And to my dudes
I am now calling out to my male fans and supporters.

If you keep a good bitch in ya crew
I am celebrating men who surround themselves with powerful and capable women, and acknowledging how having strong female allies can benefit men as well.

And you rock a good mother fuckin' suit
I am praising men who know how to dress well and command attention with their fashion choices, particularly when wearing a sharp, well-fitted suit.

And you got a lil' tree on ya boots
I am describing a sense of style where men incorporate unique, standout pieces into their outfits, such as having a small tree design on their boots.

You can get it
I am reaffirming the message that men who support and identify with my music and message can have my respect, support, and attention, as they are willing to support me.

Nicki and Dirty Money shit ya draws
I am alluding to my collaboration with the hip-hop collective Dirty Money and promising that our music is so unique and fresh that it will leave listeners stunned (shitting their pants, so to speak).

When I count to three hit the floor
I am using a common concert/crowd command to engage with my listeners and get them more excited and involved in the music.

Damn lil mama pick up ya jaw
I am saying that my music is so intense and impressive that my female audience members may be stunned and need to pick their jaws up off the ground in amazement.

That's here the Chevy 64
I am referencing a classic car, the 1964 Chevrolet Impala, which is often associated with popular culture and hip-hop music.

You that bitch I'm the boss
I am playfully acknowledging another female rapper as 'that bitch', implying that she too is a boss in her own right. However, I am also claiming my dominance and superiority in the music industry as 'the boss'.

I'm a have my bodyguard dust me off
I am using humor to exaggerate the idea of being treated like royalty or a high-profile celebrity, and having a bodyguard there to take care of even the smallest details.

Cause I think I might have some dirt on my shoulder
I am using another hip-hop cultural reference to Jay-Z's song 'Dirt off Your Shoulder', where he brushes off any problems or criticisms that come his way. I am jokingly saying I may need a bodyguard to physically help me with this task.

Call my nigga light with the money green rover
I am referencing a friend or colleague as 'my nigga' and also referencing their expensive car, a Range Rover with a green paint job.

I'm the boss bitch pink links and the brinks
I am reaffirming my dominance in the music industry by declaring myself 'the boss bitch'. I also reference the jewelry brand Links of London, adding to my image of luxury and extravagance. Lastly, I mention Brinks, a security and transportation company, to emphasize how important and valuable I am.

Rockin' the corset sip drinks in my minks
I am describing my sense of fashion and style, noting how I often wear corset-like clothing and luxurious mink fur. I also mention drinking, which could be seen as indulgent or hedonistic.

Tell him I said maybe he should bring the trey p
I am referring to a gun as a 'trey p' (a .38 caliber revolver). I am playfully saying that my friend should bring his gun with him when we hang out, adding to our sense of prestige, danger, and fun.

Already know these lames is gonna hate
I am acknowledging that other people in the music industry may be envious, jealous, or critical of my success and unique style.

But uh lately it only motivates me
Rather than let these negative feelings get to me, I use them as motivation to work harder, excel even more, and stay dominant in the industry.

Want it with the squad gotta come through me
I am boldly stating that anyone who wants to challenge my musical squad or team (such as my collaborators with Dirty Money) must first go through me.

I hit the dance floor nigga 1-2-3
I am describing the fun and exciting experience of hitting the dance floor and engaging with my audience. I use a playful expression and count to three, emphasizing the idea of being in sync with my music and the crowd.

You could tell she really, really loved rapping. Not stardom, fame, craft, none of that. Just really, truly loved spitting her bars. That, is why she's so dope.

what I notice most while watching nicki's old stuff before fame is her CONFIDENCE it's like she always KNEW she would make it big and I remember watching an interview of her from 2008 where she said "I'm going to be the new and improved queen of rap and I'm gonna build an empire" and she did just that, her confidence and hard work is honestly so inspiring to me
